RRR versus PBS

I don't listen to either station much but I am interested to know what the esteemed members of BigFooty consider to be the 'better' station.

I did listen to RRR for a while as I used to enjoy the thursday and friday arvo shows, but I virtually had no interest in any other thing they played. I just found everything to be really boring.

much prefer rrr to pbs. love chicken mary (monday arvo), banana lounge broadcasting (tues arvo) and the skull cave (fri late arvo). teriffic mix of music across the days.

Prefer them both to any other station. Being a huge soul'n'funk fan, Peebs wins with Soul Time, Soulgroove 66, Blue Juice and Boss Action keepin' me happy on that front. Also luv Shock Treatment with Kev Lobotomi, City Slang and Fang it.

PBS, just.
RRR has the better morning program and Friday arfternoon is gold (although I tend to swap between that & Ritchie 1250 on Fri arvo if home), PBS with Kev Lobotami on Wed & Claire Stuchberry on Mondays edge them over the line for me.

I used to enjoy The Spin on RRR Sundays many years ago.

They're both great stations but PBS is probably my favourite on the airwaves.

PBS for Radio De Janeiro, Bass Culture & all the mad soul and funk . Love The Ghost on RRR though.

I flick between both when i listen to the radio. Both have awesome shows and ordinary ones.

I like them both equally.

Love 'em both, too, but it's PBS by a nose for me. Fret Net and Shock Treatment are kick ass shows.

RTR Fm 92.1 in Perth and 4ZZZ beat both of them.
