If Warnock does a Knee or something and Jlo 's
knee problems are well documented, Happy's no
ruckman as well, i think we might be caught up with
211 doing it alone which is ok if he's playing younger ruckmen
but experienced duo like Ports and sides like the saints, egirls etc
would surely exploit that aroung the ground

i think we should be definately looking at some ruck options in the draft i jus don't think Warnock is ready to do it full time at the highest level.
Are they any obvious targets either locally or interstate
we should be looking at. i think Port and the lions have a few spare
as well. thoughts ?
 
It would be good to have another ruckman on our list, but it's not a massive priority. This draft I'd like to see us take a 193cm+ key defender and 3 midfielders, then rookie list a ruckman.

Warnie will be ready to go in a fortnight.

Gilmore is pretty good in the ruck, it's the other 17 positions that he struggles with.

If Sandilands has to play as the only ruckman we can use Johnson or Campbell to tag the oppositions ruckman so that Sandi can play a full game.

Johnson was a good ruckman at Perth, not sure why we haven't used him ahead of Polak and Gilmore in the past.

Locking in JLo until the end of 2009 with dodgey knees was a mistake, hopefully a weeks rest has done him a world of good.
 
yep i agree with dom we definately need midfielders (pacey ones at that) and 3 might be a lot coz we do have Foster who is apparently quick with Ibbo in there as well i still think we should get a high pick tall Ruck man (over 202cm) and definately a(tall) defender to replace old parker at full back to take on the monsters and resting ruckmen in the league (Parker was taken to the cleaners by an average player )

how tall is Mourish ?
Heard he played a lot in the ruck in GNFL anyone know how he went there ?

Only bad thing i have heard about warnock is he is too small, weight wise. Other than that ive heard all good things...

a couple of quick midfielders instead of aging recycled Vic player smite just be the go!!

Of course we need to recruit another ruckman in the draft. But he won't play for 2-4 years. The question is whether we need to darft a recycled hack as back-up with one of our very last picks.

In the near future we will have the ruck combination of Sandilands and Warnock, with JLo playing forward. We will need a developing young gun so we don't get $$$$ pressured by other clubs trying too pinch Warnock. Locking into paying top $ for three ruckmen would stretch us.

Warnock 13 possies to half time!
Down side is Campbell has 1, Murphy 2!

Mourish rucking for EF and going well apparently.
