I really shuold get a new pair of runner/cross trainers. My old ones have had it.

I have always been told Asics were the best and will even replace your shoes if they hurt or do something they are not meant to? unsure if thats true or not, but worth a try.

Good little shop that sells Asiacs cheap just up the road from Northcote. Near the roundabout at the corner of Miller and Gilbert Rd. The shop is on Gilbert Rd just past the old servo.

This is the best value in Melbourne for Ascics - cash only though but a post office is over the road for cash withdrawals. Called Leo Russell's. Also great for cricket gear. Another good place is Sims in Puckle Street Moonee Ponds if you want other brands.

Whats the joint out around Armadale, i think on High, where they examine your gait and determine the best shoe for you?

I use to have aching achilles but after switching to asics they have returned to normal.....also very good for wide feet

if u live in melbourne more specificially the north/western or western suburbs try a place called SIMS sports in puckle street moonee ponds. i am a decent runner and only ever buy asics, although i run my games in new balance only cause of sponsorship commitments. SIMS have good prices and all sizes, this coming from a guy with a size 14 foot.

bush tucker's on the money. Get to SIMS if you want a heap of choice, at a much better price than you'll get from Rebel etc.
You'll get footy boots much cheaper from there too.

Asics the way to go, you can get them for wide and thin feet (2E, for thin, 4E for wide) and they have this on the box.

I just upgraded my Asics earlier in the week going form the Gel 1100's to the GEL DS-TRAINER X which i got for $170 instead of $210.
