2 players i thought i must comment on from the game today. im not a big russel fan but he played really well today starting to finally do some things.
how sh#t is marty clarke. all the hype iv heard of him. can't kick, can't mark and shits himself when you put pressure on him. darren phiffer is a great pick up played amzing for a 3rd game player

did you not notice the three crucial times that russel turned over the ball. He tried hard today but still he's skills are not up to afl level. Turned the ball over over in the middle trying to hit gibbs, and then collingwood scored.

Yeah he did, and i noticed, but in terms of his general contribution he is improving every week. I don't like it when you see that the last kick in to the forward line is going to be up to him, BUT hopefully he just keeps improving.

To be honest I have been one of the few hoping he succeeds, but he is our weak link and was again today.

Ratts and co need to be really tough about this, skill era's will be our downfall, the endevour is there, we can ill afford to ahve any passengers.

football is a tough game and especially at this level tough decisions need to be made!

I would dare say Russell is playing only because Walker isn't. Once he returns you will see Russell in the Bullants, especially when Grigg has overtaken him.

My big query is, when Walker returns what happens with Jamison? Isn't Jamison only playing in the seniors because Walker has a longterm injury?

One would expect that to be the case unless he steps up and shows some significant signs of improvement, especially as a midfielder.

No, definitely not. Jamison has shown more than enough to suggest that he'll be a quality long term defender for the club. Jamison, Walker, Bower, Grigg, Waite and Scotland can all fit in the one defense.

No. He is a nominated rookie who can play all year, we can have two of them as we have no veterans on the list.

I think he meant the nominated rookie.

In which case is no, Jamison can play as many games as he is selected for.
