decided to check out the official site to see if its worth buying the game, and saw RVD listed as a legend.

How has WWE been able to do this since RVD is under contract with TNA, and is appearing regularly in another company?

Not only would it be extremely bad for them as it could give TNA more viewers, but surely TNA have all rights to future media featuring RVD until his contract expires?

how could they leave such a gaping hole in a contract?

He made the video game deal prior to signing with TNA.

This + the intellectual property rights and image rights are drafted specifically in WWE contracts for the very reason of appearances in future DVDs, games and media to be covered once the 'wrestling' aspect of the contract expires.

And TNA completely screwed up their use of RVD. Stripping him of the title and then having him appear on TV less than a month later is hilarious

Just remember, in every WWE game there are at least 4 or 5 guys on the game roster that were released months before hand, WWE video gaming is slack like that, so yeah they would have put him in the game before they even knew he would be in TNA

ok... so, can you explain mickie james then? also on the game

and RVD, hes been in TNA nearly a year, surely the game hasnt been in post-production that long?
