Hey guys,
Just wondering where Ryan Houlihan is currently, is he injured?
Cant find any information on the afl site or carlton site.
No! He dished up some awful soft football recently against Hawthorn and was dropped and then went back to the Bullants and was even worse there some have suggested.

Get him back in Rats... was scoring well in my DT...trades are running low...

actually thought he'd been pretty good from the games I've watched this year...a bit soft ... but good skills...

I love how everyone claims to know the reason he was dropped. I've heard it had nothing to do with his on field or off field application but a personal issue that none of you would understand. I've also heard he's a chance to return this week.

Here's what Heath Scotland said recently:

I’d like to see Ryan Houlihan back in the team. He’s an important player to us and we need him back and firing.

Hope your right BlueWorld!

Its been talked about before, we think that Scotto's comments were more of a 'Hope Houla can get his sh1t together' than a dig at the Match Committee... So you could be on to something, we'll find out 5pm

Im pretty sure after the Freo game Ratten was asked the question and said that Ryan had been dropped because he wasn’t working hard enough on some areas in his game…. Guessing he meant tackling/defensive pressure etc…

You believe everything Ratten says? It's a personal issue.

Averaging 3.5 tackles a game which is in the top 10 at the club, so there's more than half the side who are tackling less who haven't been dropped.

and there goes another week where this dud doesnt get picked , wish i new wat the real reason was for him not getting a game

i love how it was somehow very obvious that this was in connection with my dream team, now i'll have to bring in grima.

Adequate choice.

Grima is a MAN MOUNTAIN!!!

Houlihan has a fair bit of work to do, ran around trying to get easy kicks in the 1st half of last VFL game, then pulled his finder out and started to win his own ball, when he gets used to winning his own ball and working harder he can come back. He's in the naughty corner.

Cannot believe Houlihan was dropped for on field reasons. If he was something is definitley not right. There have been several players who are still playing who have not equalled Ryan's season to date. Should be a definit first 18 start up.

He'll be back sooner rather than later, and I expect our bye last week was the main reason he is not in the side.

Will be a welcome addition, and I'd assume that will be next week :)

Definitely wasn't for on field reasons.

Depends on whether we win or lose. MC never change winning sides. Tough luck if you happen to be out for whatever reason. Wiggins also missed out. If we win this week he'll probably be in the VFL again.
