Ablett was a fantastic player. He doesn't have the knowledge or desire to be coach. You should make a poll about whether Bomber should be sacked, not add a replacement.

Joke thread aside, its interesting to think how Gary might have gone as a coach. As a player he had said that he would like to coach when his playing days were over. Its a mistake to mark him as a player who played purely by gut feel with no appreciation of tactical nous. In a couple of biographies I've read about him, it suggested that he would plan out plays well before the match. And the guy also had pretty good general knowledge of the game, famously winning a footy trivia contest on World of Sport as a junior. Obviously his appalling communication skills would hinder him dreadfully.
