for what ever reasons wallace didnt go a full youth policy at the start. like others before him he overestimated our senior players. the only other thing he got wrong was his ignoring certain player types in his recruiting. wallace should come out and admit he got it wrong at the start and continue on his recent full on youth policy path.we all knew it would take a minimum 5yrs its just going to take a little longer now.

The hawks used to flood like hell, they still flood like hell, every team floods when under pressure, but wallace refused to flood until they were 20 goals behind, because he is just concentrating on youth and not concerned about winning. that is crap coaching.

if u sack him u's are dud's i know the geelong loss reallly hurts. but ive seen some improvement from u's. Richmond have made the finals twice in the last 25 years. During that time they have sacked:

Kevin Bartlett
Allan Jeans
John Northey
Robert Walls
Jeff Gieschen
Danny Frawley

That's 10 coaches, all of whom (except Northey) were sacked for lack of on-field performance. Doesn't that tell you something? Sacking a coach achieves nothing, if the playing group simply isn't good enough.

11 coaches (including Wallace) have gone through Richmond over the last 25 years and it hasn't got them anywhere. Learn from the past FFS.

4 of those ppl actually resigned.

Didn't see Wallace on the ground yesterday in a football jumper? and half of the Cats players yesterday wouldn't of even had to shower after the game. 90% of the goals they kicked were like a training drill and unaccountable, this is fully a player issue and nothing more. To get within 22 points of the best side in the comp one week and beaten by 22 goals by a decent side the following week is all about mind set.
The only thing I want to know did anyone actually see Wallace give them a spray at the first change?? Forget magnetic boards and the process, he should have told the other coaches to stay in the box and went down and brought the human side into it by handing out an ear bashing of anger.They played like kids so therefore should have been treated like kids!!

Run them into the ground at training this week and then make them sit and watch the entire game after training each time.This excludes Foley and Richo.

serious question for all you monday experts - how many of you pinheads were calling for us to tank the season and go with a total youth policy? how many were happy with our honest efforts in the first 5 rounds? how many batted off to coburg smashing box hill on anzac day? just about everyone of you..

i hate it when people jump straight onto the 'sack the coach' bandwagon when ever a team cops a 100 point belting. just because we lost by 100 points there is no need to sack the coach because of 1 bad performance this week, over the last couple of weeks we have been showing good signs and i just think that we need to give terry wallace a bit more time to develope the young players hes brought into the side
