Saddle up Karl Norman, it's now your turn to play for your career at the Carlton Football Club.

Norman on Williams, see what he can do!

C'mon Karl, simply deliver and you'll be retained on the list.

Good timing too. Thornton out and Norman finally making the best players list for the Bullants. If he doesn't get the call up, then his fate has already been decided. Can't buy this injury thing, if he can play for the Ants, he can play for the Blues.

Last time out Carrazzo struggled on Williams before Thornton took over and kept him quiet. No T-Bird next week means we need another option. Karl is the man for the job.

On defenders, how painful was it seeing Prendergast lost in defence on Pavlich today while the real defender in Thornton gave away about a foot to Sandilands?

I know I've said in the past that Karl will never play for Carlton again, and I may still be right, but I feel that maybe he should be given one last chance to show that he deserves to stay on the list. He has the talent to do it, he's proven it before. Morrell is a lost cause, at his age he shouldn't be a fringe player, but Norman will be on a AFL list next year (if not ours then another club). We should give him one last chance.

He did look lost, but to his defence we didn't really have anyone else suitable for the job. Pavlich is simply too strong for any of our defenders to handle.

Pavlich's game simply highlighted how desperately we need a key defender.

I trust Denis will find us one come October. :)

Yeah that was painful.

Even worse was seeing Bryan and Prendergast contest the ruck against him. Bryan looked like a dwarf next to Sandilands.

Teague lined up on him at one stage at the old Ponsford end goal square, it was funny as, Teague was laughing and pointing up to say how tall he was and having a chat lol.
