Stingrays active and lively during Trade Period - An open letter from our List manager

Safety Bay head of list management Connor Samson described the club's trade period as very lively and succesful after a slow start.

"When the trade period opened we were in no rush and wanted to continue to analyse our list throughely before commencing talks with any of the other AFLTM clubs"

"Once out due diligence was done In terms of looking at our list and we commenced talks, and once again we would like to thank all the clubs we traded with or even touched based with regarding potential trades, we felt all out trades were very fair for all parties involved and that's always a good thing come trade week"

"Now I know our loyal members may be wondering why we gave up some high profile names during the trade period, well the reason for that is to get high quality players to the club you also need to give up the same in return otherwise the trades will get nowhere, The club and myself would like to thank all the players we have traded to other clubs and wish them all the best in their new journey st other clubs, and for those who have joined us, we welcome you to the Stingrays family and cant wait to see you out on the paddock in pre-season, to oir members again, we are very happy with the state of our list for this season and going forward and we thankyou for being a huge part in this ever growing family of ours!"

"Year 2020! The year of the mighty stingrays! Let's go boys!"

-Luke Jackson (left) heads to Safety Bay.

With their first pick in the AFLTM draft period, the Safety Bay Stingrays have picked up emerging ruckman Luke Jackson with Pick 10.

List Manager Connor Samson had this to say from AFLTM HQ.

"We are absolutely delighted to have picked up Luke with Pick 10 in the draft"

"One of out priorities heading into the draft was a quality young ruckman to help fix the one area on our list we are perhaps short on and with Luke we have certainly addressed that"

"When we saw he was still available at pick 10 we had no hesitation in sending him to the Stingray family. His hunger and determination and ability is something we have admired for a while now and he has the ability to not only ruck but play forward also."

"We welcome Luke to the club and cant wait to see him oit on the park in his first session meeting all the boys"
