Can someone please explain to me some of the possible reasons behind her massive fall in the world rankings.

Back injury. didnt play much near end of last year. She is short of match practice(keeps getting high seeds in the tournaments she enters), confidence and power from what she had at her peak. Plus she is still a nutcase.

This all adds up to some pretty bad losses.

As mentioned above, but she hasn't had kind draws in her comeback (ala last night). So basically she's gonna have to rely on some good draws so she can build something up, otherwise I think she may have missed the boat. I can't see her ever knocking off a top player in rnd 1 straight off the bat.
