You're so cute when ya angry Tambo!!!!.... :)

to Darth

Thats a fair enough post. I think you will find that it's more a case of ppl giving these players, still, a hard time and alot of supporters are sick of many of us hearing how crap they apparently still are. i know i'm not emotionally shattered any of those left.

In ottens case, im very frustrated that he left the way he did, as many of us saw him as the future - thats the bothering part. the fact his form declined - well - the entire teams form declined, and in the culture we have of losing, and "eating our own" its not hard to see why things seem to fall apart and decline so quickly. he had some good years and it was only the past two years where his form and development really stopped. like most players over that period. It was sad he felt he had to leave, and disappointing that after he had made comments which seemed to suggest he wanted to stay for the new era and coaching panel, he reversed off these comments.

In Zantucks case, his attitude seemed to be his biggest problem rather than his on field. i'm certainly the least disappointed to see him leave. I have bigger problems with players who have big ego's than players who have lost confidence and slight ability.

with Fiora, i think this kid copped it really harshly at his time at Richmond. unfairly. it's not his fault we picked him at 3, and not pavlich. ppl give it to him personally for that. if you ever met the guy, you would find he is a normal, quiet kid - and it's sick that he has been getting abused like a mutta ********er all this time. he has been poorly developed, coached and trained for his entire tenure at the club. he has obvious ability. he didnt walk out on the club, like ottens. his attitude was certainly not a problem as zantucks was.
Thats why i am keen and interested to see how he goes, and i will be very keen to see him play well. like i said earlier, its a shame we couldnt see him play under the new coaching team, as his quick running and long direct kicks would have been a pleasure to watch under TW.

The past may be the past, but there is nothing wrong with coming to peace with it.

biggest load or crap you have spilled yet astro

your not shattered at those who left? yet you continue to dribble a hole story on each three

as for saying its more a case of ppl giving these players still a hard time, again your incorrect in regards to Fiora, this thread was started by a pro Fiora lover and the one before was from a Saints fan.

Ottens... yes unfortunately there are still a handful of ppl who are having trouble getting over his loss and want to see him fail (tigerboyz is one), personally I couldnt careless what Brad does anymore

As for Zantuck LOL, who cares!!! the only time he will get his own thread will be when a trolling Bomber supporter posts it after the mental case plays one good game, going on that we will get about 3 threads for the season because he will play about 3 good games.

PRR, those 3 players would have done well this season. You know when you see a player has talent and you know when someone underperforms due to other his surroundings and other problems. You obviously can't see that. Anyway you live in WA, so you only judge players from tv or the times we go over and play in WA. This thread is all about some of our stupid fans and I used Ottens, Fiora, Zantuck and Richo to explain my case.

would have, could have, should have...............

As for living in WA, I watch Richmond play "live" in Melbourne twice every year and have done so for the past 10 years plus I watch them when they play (well turn up but that can be questioned) in Perth.

Do you come over here to watch us play? I'd doubt you would show as much passion to do so, but If I could afford the flight over every week to watch them play I would, I dont know what your trying to imply with that stupid statement, but in future get your facts straight.

is astro and madtiger the same person? fella/s, get over these losses, you guys are whinging like a 3 year old wanting to take her barbie doll to kinder. who cares what they will be like now or in the future. fact is they are not part of our future.... why worry?

oh Tambo, Tambo, Tambo.... you poor poor foolish git...

please find the post where i lament the loss of these boys - where i suggestwe should have done more to keep them, and that i'm angry that the club let them leave? i said it was a shame Fiora didnt get the oppurtunity under Wallace as i think he would have excelled under his coaching style. my posts are all merely that i hope they can perform well at their new clubs. Basically i get critised from everyone because i wish them luck, and i believe they probably didn't receive the best development under the 'Frawley Towers' set up.

Me and Mad Tiger are certainly not the same person. conspiracy theory because some ppl don't agree with you? LOL

If you hate me oh so much Tambo, maybe you should just ignore my posts and not reply - it will help your stress levels and give you more time to focus on the important things in your life.... whatever that may be...
it may also help you with you bed wetting and nightmares...

I'm implying that u get stuff all real life viewing of the tiges PRR ;).

Sorry Mr Wallace I didnt realise you were here, obviously you should be in the Richmond coaching department and rightly so.

Do you take down notes on all players movements even when the ball isnt in their area too ?

I tend to forget you have a great analytical mind hence why your our coach

My mistake !!

:D

most players were ******** for us anyway last season. Fiora played well last night too. I dunno why we gave him to St kilda, because we could have got Simmonds for nothing lol

lol mate get over it!

lmfaooooooo@ PRR. Every comment of yours is hilarious and bang on target. Keep up the good work.

2 games = 2 performances in the BESTS in a side that has an absolute truckload better players in it than richmond has. Fiora would have been a good performer in our side if other players in the team fulfilled their roles. He is a "sheep dog" no question. doesn't win much of his own ball. But that was never his role. Fiora flopped at richmond because the senior players played terribly more often than not.

Fiora copped harsh critism when many older, more senior players got off lightly.

But true, we will wait and see if he can keep it up. but no questions at this point that he has shown alot more in the red white and black then he did in the yellow and black.

Is it a team thing, or an individual thing?? Thats the real question

I'm glad he left Richmond, he would still be the loser I remember him to be if he had stayed !!

:D

Lucky for him at St Kilda there is more talented players than what we have at Richmond, less accountability and less expectation from his peers.

Reminds me alot like Des Headland actually but in reverse.

No problem from my end if Fiora plays well for the Saints. He was disappointing for us but him playing well for the Saints is an indictment on the coaching panel last year more than anything else.

I heard N Burke on the radio just before and he said that Fiora has put on 6 kg. If he has, we should all line up our old coaching panel and lynch them. Oh wait, we've f#cked them all off...thank christ for that.

Frawley and his cohorts did bring some good to the club (Del and Tambling) but he sure stuffed up the careers of a number of kids. Don't blame Fiora...look towards Linfox.

yep it's frawley and co.'s fault for the UNDERPERFORMANCE of our players and careers have been ruined and players have left us. I kept saying that we should have grabbed Wallace midseason last year, beacuse players like Ottens would have seen that we were worth playing with under Wallace. I'm sure we would have been able to prove this while still finishing last ;). We could have played our new style in patches :D

UNDERPERFORMANCE of our players

LOL Classic

wouldnt be the fact that our players were just crap or either in cruise control?

its Frawley's fault to a point and that point being he should have seen these duds for what they were (Hudson, King, Biddiscombe etc etc) and got rid of them or drafted correctly to begin with.

Frawley never enhanced our list, and players like Fiora never got to flourish by racking up possessions off the Dozen legitimate stars we should have drafted or traded for instead.

The problem with players like Fiora and Ottens was for all the raw talent these guys had, they couldnt step up and be the 2 superstars we needed them to be, instead they would be happier being the 11th or 12th best player in a team where they could be less accountable.

Have you ever thought that players like Fiora and Ottens don't have the skill to be superstars but are mid tier players at best that enhance a list without actually being match winners??? Actually Ottens could have been a match winner except that he's as soft as my 7 yr old niece.

Frawley and co. weren't able to get the best out of those kinds of players and unfortunately we were short on top tier players to take pressure of those mid - lower tier players. Anyway, what's done is done and I look forward to 2005 and beyond. If I'm still on here in 5 years time bemoaning what went wrong, I'm giving it away and following Rugby Union. Come to think of it though, the Waratahs are the Tigers of Super 12. I can't take a trick can I.
