Such a weird game. Knew we weren't as bad as we showed in Q1-3 but don't think we're as good as we showed in Q4 realistically, although obviously we can be both.

A lot to work with but I think we really need to work on the 4 areas I mentioned midweek: skills, strength, leadership and concentration.

I was at the Gabba for the miracle on grass. Trust me - You will take this win with you for as long as you support the Saints. You will watch that last few minutes dozens of times over the years to come. You will meet others in the future who were also in the stadium that day and relive it together again. Or you will meet Saints fans who will clearly be able to tell you where they watched or what they were doing when they heard the news. This will become a part of the folklore of your club.

And each time you will feel that mix of awe and shock and sheer excitement again. And you will enjoy it every single time.
You guys have the Miracle on Grass, so what will this game be? The Marvel on Marvel?

Well I was bagging some selected players at 3/4 time -so egg on face!

Overall we were pathetic for 3 quarters. Last quarter outstanding coupled with probably one of the greatest individual performances in the last few minutes in AFL history.

How rubbish are the Dees?

Great we won & created AFL history but gotta be way better than that for longer if we aspire to be a decent footy team.

What the hell is this Miracle On Grass?

I know Clayton Oliver is the Miracle On Ice

I'll trade you a bertocchi ham for The Nas card
I remember when I first noticed Nasiah , and I thought, I think he looks pretty good I might buy that card.
I think I misjudged he is a silky, smooth superstar.
The Saints have developed a Star. The great thing about our game is most of these types stay long term at their clubs . Hope he stays a Saint.

Dear Mr and Mrs Wanganeen Milera,

You are welcome to stay at our house next year whenever you want. In fact you can have our house, we will sleep outside.

Cheers

Reward for effort.
Last month have been good enough to beat both Hawks and Sydney, competitive v Pies and Geelong.
6 straight losses, played terrible for 3 quarters and mount the greatest comeback in 4th qtr history.
We probably didn't deserve to win, but that really isn't the point. 6 straight losses, down 7 goals with historically no hope to win.
The team has nothing to play for, no finals, but unlike Carlton or North don't drop their head. The win while historically an anomoly shows more than the score indicates.
All through this bad patch the attitude and hunger to win has been there. That quarter shows that the team really has spirit and heart.
It is gratifying that the team and club are still playing to win.
