Saints Row: The **** would've been funnier...though wouldn't have even gone close to being accepted. Maybe The Tird!

Big dildo bat looks fun and it's good to see the graphics are looking significantly better. The character customisation (easily the best thing about the 2nd) looks very much improved too.

Question for you guys... is Saints Row 2 worth picking up?

I'm a big fan of the GTA games and RDR, I've heard this is similar style without being as serious. Haven't played SR1 either. Should I get/play both of them? Or would it be OK to just jump straight into 2?

Ha ha, yeah SR2 is awesome. If you like GTA games you'll love it. Plenty of meat to it and pretty funny.

I'd just jump straight into 2 without bothering too much with the original. Was great back in the day, but it's pretty dated now and was one of the buggiest games of all time, OF ALL TIME

As a PS3 owner, I didn't get a choice...and I feel like I've missed nothing. SR2 was, by itself, fantastic.

I actually enjoyed SR2 more than GTA IV.. the game was more fun and doesn't take itself seriously at all.

I can not wait for this game to come out, will probably be a release day purchase for me.

Initially thought the same, but after the release of the DLC i was firmly back in the GTA4 camp. Sorta liked nico, but it was a far more enjoyable game with Johnny and Luis as protagonists.

SR is still a fun game tho.

SR2 was one of the first games I got, was well worth it. One of the funnest games I've played.

I couldn't get into SR2 purely due to the shitty graphics and unrealistic physics. It's a last gen game, I just honestly couldn't enjoy it.

However a GTA-style game with extreme customizability and current quality graphics/gameplay? Yes please.

Yes the graphics are average but think of it as playing San Andreas on a PS3, the graphics would be average but gameplay is awesome.

Saints Row is gold it's wacky like the orginal GTAs. GTA4 was a step backwards from San Andreas in terms of the interactivity of the world , Saints Row is pure fun in reckon.

Played SR2 for a couple of hours last night. Can't believe the GOLD I've been missing out on all this time! So satisfying spraying shit all over cops and buildings! Definitely one of the most fun games I've played.
