I have been unusually having issues with the Saints store this year, finding them surprisingly unhelpful. Then I noticed - they're not the actual Saints staff any more. "Infinite Retail". Have we sold out and outsourced the merchandise?
I wonder if this affects what income the club receives from merchandise going forward?

I had wanted to buy our black training guernsey amongst a few other things and they basically said they had no idea what the sizing was like nor when it would be available. Wheras in the past Saints shop staff have always been very helpful and considerate of the fact I'm on the other side of the world so can't nip into Moorabbin to try on.

That's a shame because I have had nothing but good times in the past with the staff at the shop . I've bought a few things over the years and they have always been nice and friendly. But they were Saints people back then . Haven't bought anything for a couple of years . I wonder when they outsourced it ? Sounds like whoever you dealt with didn't give a stuff which is a worry. Maybe it's because Moorabbin has been demolished at the moment that the shop is elsewhere with other people running it. I'm sure when the new buildings are complete they will be back to Saints people again . I wonder if they have any jobs going lol.

I wouldn't mind one of those black tops as well, they look good.

Been outsourced for ages, ring the club and ask for Liam Oakey, has been very helpful to me with things of late

I'm in Scotland so ringing the shop/club isn't ideal - it's hard even with the time difference let alone the cost of the call. Is there any other email address I can use to get in touch - like a member services email or something? I've been a member for years and sunk a fair bit of $ into the club, I really just need a small bit of help in return.

Last year was the first for many that I didn't buy anything (but did have 3 memberships instead so kind of evened out) but in the past I have bought roughly $2-300 of stuff. They have always been really helpful to me - in particular the year I visited Melbourne they let me buy a bunch of stuff throughout the season ahead of getting there (so it didn't sell out) and kept it at the store at Moorabbin to pick up in September. So this new setup must have only started in the last year.

This selling out of the store doesn't seem to be a one-off because of Moorabbin redevelopment; I checked a few clubs and Port Adelaide and Brisbane have done the same, they're also with Infinite Retail - and they still have the old sizing chart up for ISC on the Port page (their sizings changed maybe 2 years ago). Emailed the Port store to point this out, got a bland response saying 'its the only chart we have'.

So seems Infinite Retail is likely a central sports store in NSW with a person on close to minimum wage that doesn't even know a thing about AFL, doesn't appear to care about fans wanting to buy items of their club, processing orders on AFL merch without a clue about the products themselves.
Its annoying as a supporter in terms of getting items I want. But its also annoying to think that this is probably affecting the profits the club makes from merchandise.

I'm of the understanding that all the black training guernseys have all been allocated/sold, xblades are not making anymore according to their reply via email!
Infinite retail haven't been helpful at all with my enails

I can PM you Liam's email address if you haven't already found it. Like Chuckie, I've also found him really useful recently.

I went to visit the Saints store at Moorabbin earlier this yeae and its no longer there. I was told by the staff to go to the AFL store at Southland.

Was surprised that we don't have it anymore tbh.

BlacreJacks..........the retail store at Moorabbin closed after the last home game last year.

The re Imagine Moorabbin showroom and seating /TV's for the "Social Club" now take up all the space where all the retail Ops were before.

After the VCAT challenge was resolved and the building of the new complex was to be done in 2 stages,I was very surprised that they didn't have some type of retail outlet at Moorabbin.

I think until the new complex is finished, they want all retail to be via the net(Saints Locker) or at the outlets at Etihad on home games.

I'm a little surprised the staff at Moorabbin suggested AFL shop at Southland....we wouldn't make any money from sales there.....but I guess....it's 5 mins away.
