I know there are some very cluey people on this board...so here's my question...
Do the wages of rookie listed players need to be included within each club's salary cap or are they paid outside the salary cap??
Or, does a rookie's wage only need to be included under the salary cap when he is elevated to the main list??
I think rookie-listed players earn a base wage of about $25,000 per year + $2,000-odd per game they play. That means Hazell/Dabrowski/Andrews/Parker/Smith cost the AFC about $125,000 in wages this year. Which begs another question, were they worth it?
