Sam Butler & Chad Morrison

Some good signs for us in the WAFL.... I see Chad Morrison kicked 4 goals for the Swans on the weekend and got B.O.G.. I also notice that Sam Butler also got B.O.G for Perth. He must be very very close to making his debut... anyone know much about him or have seen him play? Also good to see Seaby get in the best players list for West Perth.

I agree Butler deserves a chance soon. Hes been one of Perths best players so far this year, luved to see him get a shot

that's a good sign. The eagles may think that 2 small forwards and 3 talls would be enough but Butler sure deserves his go. Morrison would not be far away yet Chambers is in favour of late. Remember a bloke named Rudeforth? What happened to him?

simply isnt good enough IMO. doesnt get anywhere near enough of the footy at WAFL level. basically you need to be around the 30 possesions for a midfielder to get a look....clancy struggles to get 20, and he doesnt use it anywhere near well enough. plus he is getting quite old- for a rookie.

You would expect Butler to get a run sooner rather than later but perhaps not in such a big game like this weekend. Might see him against the Tigers at Subi next weekend.
