I doubt the club feels the same. I think they would see Draper as Tex Walkers replacement. Thilthorpe is too good to go near the ruckNo thanks.
Band 1 compensation for Draper lol.I doubt the club feels the same. I think they would see Draper as Tex Walkers replacement. Thilthorpe is too good to go near the ruck
If Essendon finish bottom 3 then they probably have interest in seeing Draper go also so its probably a fairly clean run at him. For free I think Adelaide will bite
Essendon would just match otherwise is the issue. You would need to bring a deal that nets Band 1 compensation.Band 1 compensation for Draper lol.
Then it's an easy pass, Essendon can offer him that kind of money.Essendon would just match otherwise is the issue. You would need to bring a deal that nets Band 1 compensation.
Id pass too but I dont think Adelaide Crows do is what im getting atThen it's an easy pass, Essendon can offer him that kind of money.

Fully believe you need a Walker replacement. Fogarty is a bit like Jake Stringer. Better on a sligthly smaller guy who doesnt have the height. He can bully most third talls with upper body strength but not so much 2nd tallsWe're past the point of needing a Tex Walker replacement, as we've wedded ourselves to the Thilthorpe/Fogarty combination.
This is something we likely fill internally, especially as our backup ruck/forward (Toby Murray) has set the world on fire this preseason (and probably would have debuted at most clubs off it). Or Curtin, much to my disdain of wasting a 1st round draft pick on a third tall slot.
Curtin being a mobile key forward who can push up and back would be a fantastic outcome.Fully believe you need a Walker replacement. Fogarty is a bit like Jake Stringer. Curtin cant be that 3rd tall at all for the reason you said. Toby Murray seems a interesting one at 21 years old and sounds like could be a option. Would be smart of you too rest Walker some games and give him a crack to see where he stands at that level. 4 or 5 games might be a good hint

He won't be able to flop on the ball with a few seconds remianing and lose us the match if he's one of our own.Take him. I will personally pay you.
Jokes aside, big, angry tall who tackles hard and can mark but has below average disposal and average decision making. SA boy and Adelaide have come for him previously, as have St Kilda.
I would be happy to see him go and us focus on Nik Cox / Nick Bryan as rucks as I personally think his deficiencies are too big to overcome but maybe I’m a harsh marker as he plays for my own club.
What do oppos fans think? Is he any good? Will he stay or will clubs come for him.

4 years at $600K, we will take him and you can have RoB lol.Length of the deal is not an issue for me (ruckmen play quite awhile)
But if he gets 800000 a year then that is madness.
4 years at 600000 average is what I would offer.
We probably go 2 this year and one in 26/27 if push comes to shove and Harley requests a trade to usDraper to the Crows > Band 1 compo
= 3 x top 10 picks for Harley
A lot of water to go under the bridge with finishing positions etc but yes seems like what most people are saying. We probably go 2 this year and one in 26/27 if push comes to shove and Harley requests a trade to us

Isn't there a thread on the Bombers board..... Harley vs the Draft....Settle down, that ain’t happening

We dont name them by year. We just refer to then as Essendon draft disasterIsn't there a thread on the Bombers board..... Harley vs the Draft....
Look at least you know what you're getting... this way you avoid another 2020 draft disaster
Not good news we want him to goSammy is not going anywhere. If Adelaide are really that keen they may want to look at Nick Bryan who is also OOC but will need to be traded for if they want him.
