Honest and mature conversations must be had at the end of the year. If Draper was to get Band 1 or even Band 2 compensation hen you let him go. Play the system. Draper is good and has moments but I dont see him as a match winner he was once tracking to become.

Will be a good player for a while yet but doubt he reaches any sort of heights to be in discussion with the very best rucks in the game. Will be a second or third tier below

Obviously a big chunk of the season to go, but he’s averaging two goals a game while being fresh to really impact the ruck when we need a switch or Bryan needs a breather. Not sure why some are talking down his value.

He’s kicking 2 goals a game right now. 50 goal a game forwards who can play 30% ruck are pretty rare

Why would Adelaide even go for him? He’s a shit ruck that has a terrible set shot routine that probably won’t last the season. They have 3 elite key forwards already so must be a rob replacement ?

Rob might be shite around the ground but he’s arguably the best tap ruck in the league so that would be a big downgrade

My point was he’s not good at rucking or a good forward so why would they get him.

His tank sucks, he can’t solo ruck which would make crows worse because it would take their best player out of his best position for 25-30% of the game.

If you mean aimless tap then sure ROB is the best aimless tap ruck in the league.

His tank is not up to par, correct.
He’s an above average ruckman however when he’s in there, which makes probably maxes out at about 70% of a game.

His forward craft has come a mile from not really a factor to now you need to allocate a decent defender to him. At Adelaide, he’d genuinely be about 70% ruck, 10% forward, 20% bench.
He’d be an enormous upgrade on current version of ROB.
