Have you seen This Is Spinal Tap ?
It's from there.... "but it has 11"
I know you're being facetious, but the device sitting on his ear looks like a similar design to a regular hearing aid. If that's the case, the volume control will be located on the part that sits behind his ear.

Youre tempting me to be facetious again!!.
Hearing aids are nothing like Cochlear implants.
A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device that replaces the function of the damaged inner ear. Unlike hearing aids, which make sounds louder, cochlear implantsdo the work of damaged parts of the inner ear (cochlea) to provide sound signals to the brain.
Such a funny movie too.I have that t-shit. Slays them at school.
Such a funny movie too.
Walking around trying to find their way out....
So basically he has superhuman healing. Cool.
But will he be known asI very much doubt you will ever see a runner out to Sam to pass on intructions. He will be able to hear them coming straight from Bucks in the coaches box and will have executed the instructions before he has even finished his sentence.

I'm aware of the differences in how they work. The asthetic design however, is similar, so the volume control could well be in the same spot.Youre tempting me to be facetious again!!.

As far as I am aware there is no " volume control" or at least not one the patient can use. The technicians tweak it on a regular basis to ensure it works at optimum comfort and efficiency but the user can't just dial it up to eleven when he wants that extra oomph to push it over the cliff.
That last bits for saintly!
http://gupress.gallaudet.edu/excerpts/PGCIfive5.htmlSetting the Volume and Sensitivity Controls
Through a series of external controls, the child, parent, teacher, or therapist can adjust the volume and sensitivity of the unit. Most parents are familiar with volume controls from the use of the child’s FM or hearing aid. These act in a similar manner on the cochlear implant.

Many thanks. This might help demonstrate what's actually happening with a cochlear implant.
