Just been reading about Ashley Sampi. If he gets his shit together, and goes into the draft,he would be a good pickup.the next Micky o,perhaps? Only 23,skillful,
and im sure,Mickey and Goodsey, could settle him down! Just a thought?

I'd love us to take the chance on either Sampi or Farmer. Adding more players into forward line probably won't be our focus this off-season, but they would both come pretty cheap as there probably won't be many clubs interested, and the rewards would be very high if it worked out. Plus the more small forwards we can have on our list, the less likely we'll need to keep giving Bevan a game to man them up. Luv Humph.

I agree, sort of, Farmer is too old,yes the forward line is not our real priority, next season. Next season we have to have options in defence,to free
up the Malc,to play in midfield where he belongs, one of our best shining lights in years, future captain,Brownlow contender! I think Bevan suffers from brain freeze, Ie takes a good mark, but after that????

No to Farmer, to old and not worth the effort, but I reckon Sampi would be a great get. Give him Goodsey as a mentor and I think he could be brilliant, he only needs to get (and keep) his head together as he is a wonderful player when on song and who better to guide him outside of footy then Goodes.

Sampi has talent, I’m surprised to see he is only 23.

But he would seriously need to get his act together because if he cant do the work at the Coast what makes us think he would do it here.

Remain sceptical and would probably prefer to see us look elsewhere.

yeah I think getting Sampi would be OK Goodesy and Mickey O will sort him out.

if we could get sampi cheap, he might be worth a go, he's young and obviously has ability, but it'd be a punt....not farmer, no way should we even think about farmer.....we may as well call ronnie burns or some other selfish peaheart

Wouldn't mind giving him a shot for a 5th round pick or something.

The only way I would think about signing him is if he has a clause in his contract that states that no family can come with him. He hasn't been able to stay out of trouble for a good 3 years now because of mostly family related things. Obviously has talent, but I wouldn't give up much at all for him right now.

Didn't work having Wirrpanda around the club who's probably the best mentor a young indiginous player can have

Afterall Wirra did win the AFL Inaugural Community Leadership Award 2003 and has been approached to be involed in state poilitcs when he ritires

But maybe getting him out of WA, away from family and friends and into a new environment may change him, because my God does the boy have talent
