real ball players want to play ball, not sit on the sidelines. Surely BA's management has steered him in the wrong direction here, even if he wants more money, he should be playing in the hope to drive his interest from other clubs up.

It's got the vibes of finding another job that has better pay and conditions, but sticking at your current job cause they matched the offer.

He's got big regrets about sticking and I think it's more about leaving than money as he's got to Antonio Brown level of setting money on fire

Carolina somehow played worse than we did, should win our next 2 games but prob get pumped in the last 3 imo.
We've lost to the Browns in 2023 off a missed FG by Jake Moody. Their DC has Kyle's number.

Jim Schwartz has an 8-1 record against Kyle Shanahan's offenses over nine meetings as coordinators, giving him a significant historical advantage over the 49ers coach. In these matchups, Shanahan's offenses have averaged just 15.8 points per game and scored over 20 points only once. The one win for Shanahan was in 2008, when he was the offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.

Inclement weather predicted for the Browns game. Maybe snow and or rain forecast.

Let's hope it's a heavy dose of the run game and we rarely pass the ball otherwise it might mean that Garrett breaks the season record for sacks.

Brian Robinson will be huge in this game I reckon

Going to have to run it down their throats and his improving form will be a good 1-2 with CMC

Kinda feel this is a season on the line type game. Favoured to win, but anyone who knows the 9ers knows how much Jim Schwartz has the wood on Kyle, how good the D is and how poor our O line can be on the pass rush, and it's not the type of weather that Brock thrives in.

I know the D Line is a mess, but we've been able to find ways when needed.

A win and we're heading into bye week, with the Titans to follow before a tricky stretch, a loss and we're needing to find another win against quality opposition.

Special teams was massive first the huge punt return by sky moore led to first td then the recovery of the muff punt led to our 3rd td and clinching the win. Without that its alot harder to win.

That was pretty convincing. Didn't look in too much trouble for most of the game
We won all 3 phases plus the coaching today.

It was the type of game where on offence we just did what we had to, no mistakes over trying to do too much against the 2nd ranked D in the NFL.
  • Purdy escaping pressure to throw away and only giving up 1 sack late in the game.
  • Didn't stop.trying to run the ball even after challenges in the first half
  • Made big throws on 3rd down and converting 11/17.
  • Defence got some pressure and plenty of stops
  • Aside from 1 deep shot that turned into the only Browns score we never looked in trouble in coverage
  • No real yard leakage with yards after contact
  • The rally up from the secondary was ferocious

The Browns made some terrible errors on Special teams. There was also catching the kickoff and stepping out at the 6.

Basically meant a huge difference in the starting drives. Browns started on average at their own 21-yard line. San Francisco started an average on their own 41-yard line.

For me this was the turning point of the game. 4&1 deep in their own half on their own 34, down by 2 in the with 7 mins to go in the 3rd quarter to go for it with the rookie TE coming under centre.

The absolute definition of "you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes'. The fumbled snap/turnover leads to a TD and a 9 point lead, it was a mountain to climb from there and they didn't get close.

The Browns went 0/4 on 4th down, and not even Dan Campbell would justify going for it there.

The only (weak) logic I am can think of is "we had the wind", a punt there and who knows what happens....

It's coaching malpractice to give us such a short field in the circumstances.

We've also cleaned up the penalties. No longer extending/killing drives.

The coaching across all 3 phases has been great and kept us competitive even with the injury curse.

The season is wide open. We're a game out of the 1 seed, or missing the playoffs....

Good win although we got beat deep a few times, next 3 games will make or break us.
We needed the Rams and Seahawks to drop a game on the run home to squeak past them on the tie breakers.

We're almost a mathematical lock for the playoffs - likely to be 6th or 7th seed if we can't get above those in our division.

We're playing well with what we have at our disposal - but can we beat a good team when they're having a good day? There's no real standouts that's "invincible"

I have said the last few months whoever is healthiest will win the nfc come playoff time. We are a good chance to get thru.

It's an open year and anything can happen.

Not sure I can see up winning 3 or 4 straight to claim number 6.

But really why not us (other than the severe lack of a pass rush, and average secondary)?

Big game tomorrow with the bears. 2 good teams with questionable D.

Kyle's coaching has been off the charts, and is now in the frame for coach of the year. Hopefully he's got something cooking for SNF
