A very fascinating read on the Cats' Brenton Sanderson.
Not so much a tale of a crossroads in mid-career, but rather at a crossroads in his own life.
In a nutshell, during the offseason, he's broken up with his girlfriend of eight years, was in Bali during the bombing, flew to New York the day after returning to Bali, found some peace of mind in NYC while vacationing there and compiled a list of ten things he would like to do before he passes on. And one of those things is to fly a jumbo-jet.
Mind you, Sanderson just celebrated his 29th birthday this past week. And he seems to have found a comfort zone in a career which has seen him endure with three different teams and will see him play his 150th game for Geelong when the home-and-away season begins next month.
