Will Sandilands keep up these SC numbers?

Is upgrading Simmonds feasible? Averaging 40 less than Sandilands and only seems to be getting worse? Is he playing injured?

Initially I thought Simmonds would be my ruck all year, but the possible point improvement is hard to ignore.

I made the trade last week.

Happy with the results on the weekend.

The thing with Sandilands though is that recently he has been having a huge Q1 and then fading out of the game.

I think over the course of the season he will stay at about 40pts per game more, so its well worth the upgrade.

Pretty sure Wallace said on radio that Simmonds has been playing with a knee injury for a couple of weeks.

stick with Simmonds, he has been injured, Sandi wont keep it up, not worth the upgrade

I'm considering the same trade, but a $203K difference is hard to cop.

Does Ottens come into this equation in another couple of weeks once he starts to find match fitness and form (and would drop to low $400s)? What were his SC stats like in previous seasons?

Ottens previous year scores
2005 - 86.2
2006 - 82.4
2007 - 92.5

whereas the previous 3 years Sandi has averaged low 70's

Ive earmarked Ottens as a player to watch. Im hoping it takes him 5 weeks to get back to his best form...wishful thinking i know.

Would be great to do a straight swap.

Hopefully after the break Simmonds' knee injury will be behind him.
