Genuine roundy.

If the guy can't kick and can hardly run, then why is he playing?

I'm not so sure I believe Warnock is injured either - claiming injury seems to be the "gentle" way to drop a player, who doesn't really deserve to be dropped....

If it's a genuine question, fair enough.

The answer is because we needed him. There was noboby else who could do the job as well him even if isn't 100% fit.

Now you are suggesting the coaching staff/selection committee are lying about Warnock?

You are starting to get to the point where you assume the worst of the club when there is no evidence that they have done anything wrong IP. I didn't think you were the kind who would embrace the rumour mongering to such a degree. Each to thier own I guess.

Hey, steady on ...

She was just saying that she doesn't believe the clubs stated reasons for dropping Warnock. Coaching staff of all cluibs lie about player fitness all the time.

Teams play ducks and drakes with selection every week including us, its nothing new!

This may seem a little naive but Warnock earlier in the season (about rnd 7-8 or so off memory) was reported doing light training only and I've noticed his leg heavily strapped and I'm not talking about ordinary strapping that most players have these days but something that looked like a peace of PVC pipping. He has been carrying a slight injury all season. Perhaps its used as an 'excuse' to 'rest' a player for next week or whatever, but I'm fairly sure he's got problems of some sort, unless the heavy strapping is all part of the show.

Pistol,
I am with you 100%. In his defence he was taken to Darwin under an injury cloud and aggravated the injury, I went to Darwin to witness the debacle and Sandi was on the same flight back as myself, so he could get started on his rehab. But having said that he wins the hit out but gets slaughtered in the clearances. The West had him in our best yesterday were they at the same game I was at. Hi is not mobile enough his opposing ruckman are able to gat metres in the clear,eg McIntosh yesterday kicked a goal.Sandi was miles away from him. I say trade Sandi, he will probably end up a superstar at another AFL club but he is going nowhere with us.

Jeebus back off a bit roundy, and stop reading too much into what I say (to justify your continued blind support perhaps... each to their own I guess...)

Thank you.

And thank you again...

That's what I was suggesting - nothing more nothing less.

If Warners wasn't injured but they needed to leave him out because of mismatches or whatever, but they didn't really feel he was deserved of being omitted on form, but they wanted to save him the ignominy of being "dropped"... then the "gentle" way out is to say he was left out because of injury....

He was certainly moving, running, kicking freely at training tonight.

Disgraceful that he was played yesterday.

I realise it was our last roll of the dice as far as the season goes...But you don't play a guy that is injured against the competition's best ruck duo.
