Any thoughts on Sandown today?

I know he's probably past his best, but i like Aka Bilk each way. He's had very hard runs his last 2.

Wet track, getting near a suitable trip, decent pilot for a change...

A lot of weight.

Don't think he can beat Krayzelburg on a wet track.

Perhaps Aka should have gone to Hong Kong with his previous trainer. Not a bad effort, but nothing startling either. Just one of my favs ...

1.00 SANDOWN-HILLSIDE RACE 2

1 Roedean Second Three starts back the $15.00 winner was about on a par with selection. Two subsequent dud runs for it. There must be a lesson in that. Run a book.


2.45 SANDOWN-HILLSIDE RACE 5

1 Dua Awali probably handicapped out of it. Would back it again in restricted company.


3.20 SANDOWN-HILLSIDE RACE 6

2 Fairessa second Can’t complain. Winner to good as some other poster attests.

3 Civil back any over 4.50

was a good race not to bet on.

1 Vendome On the weight a pretty dumb selection. Rocks in the head syndrome.
