I'm sure Longer know what he needs to do bad year for him and 3 VFL rucks doesn't help.
He kicked a goal and had 23 hit outs so its a start.
Hopefully he stays injury free and can build on it next year

He's a guy who at 22YO played AFL games with 51 hitouts /15 contested possessions and 47 hitouts/9 contested posessions.

Cameron Wood played 12 years without getting those sort of stats. I can't believe that Billy has peaked and is over the hill at 23 and I'm sure he'll get back to a level that is even better.

I'm a Longer fan but he has lost fitness with injuries and hasn't been able to build on his weaknesses.
Let him to get through the year uninjured and he can build his fitness and around the ground work in the off-season/pre-season.

Honestly though I'd be in favour of a Longer big footy talk moratorium
