This shapes as a ripper match as the two undefeated sides of the VFL go head-to-head.
Sandringham is the competition yardstick, while Willy has strung some solid performances together in recent weeks and are playing free-flowing football. It is sure to be an enthralling encounter.
Some people are saying that Sandy is due for a loss. I'm not inclined to agree just yet. When you have a super unit of blokes playing good, confident footy, they will always be hard to stop.
Both teams will showcase some of the promising youngsters from both Melbourne and Collingwood. And these teams have VFL depth second to none, which is why they are so strong.
I don't think there'd be a better place to be than Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday.

For those that can't make the game, reading from the vflfooty forum, there is coverage on Casey Radio 97.7 FM and Double X 1611. Both stations have webcasts I believe, so there are no excuses for not catching at least some of the action.

Just before half time.

Sandy - 8.4.52
Willy - 4.7.31

Newton just went for a huge fly in the square and came off 2nd best, bit groggy. Game being played in Sandy's back half at the moment.

Half-Time.

Sandy - 9.5. 59 (Robbo 3, Sautner 2, Pickett, Newton, Garland, Hughes)
Willy - 7.8. 50

Willy right back in it after dominating the 2nd term, Sandy getting smashed out of the centre.

Pickett had a good 1st quarter but unsighted in the 2nd quarter. Robertson has been our best so far, Buckley getting a lot of the ball in the backline but struggling a bit by foot. Haven't heard much of CJ.

Mid way through the 3rd, goals to Summers and Newton, Pickett and Valenti seem to be getting in there but not using it well, Wheatley having a bit of it. Important to note Willy will have the wind in the last.
Sandy 11. 8. 74
Willy 7. 8. 50

Sandy - 11.8.74
Willy - 8.8.56

Early goals from Summers and Newton for Sandy, nice snap from Newton, his 2nd of the day from CHF, got to wonder how many more games he has to dominate for Sandy before he gets a chance in the big league.

Sandy have the wind this quarter so they need to start kicking away if they are to hold off Willy in the last quarter.

Another behind to the Seagulls, who are still dominating the play. As I say that, Sautner sticks one through for the Zebras, 23 points clear now.

Goal for goal again, Willy goal answered straight away by Robbo with his 4th, good return to football from Robbo so far, has dropped a few marks he should be taking but has been otherwise quite sharp.

Robertson for Miller, easiest decision Daniher will make all year, unless Miller comes out and plays a blinder tomorrow.

Unlikely I know, but we can still hope.

15.6. 106
11.15. 83

Newton and Robertson both missing shots to seal the game, Willy kicking a goal from the kick-in, one goal will do it for the Zebras.

Sandy - 16.6. 112
Willy - 13.12. 90

Goal Kickers - Robertson 4, Sautner 3, Newton 2 (6 behinds), Pickett 2, Hughes 2, Gallagher, Summers, Garland.
