The money from people in the know at the club is that Leslie will get the job, which is why hes been around quite a bit lately.

Ando was on 9 News stating that the club had asked him to continue next year as a full time coach.
Ando declined the offer because of business and family commitments.

I'd love em to get Alastair Clarkson out to Alberton, but the Marty Leslie/Scott Hodges quinella is the whisper I've heard too.

The stats will show williams as the worst coach of ethelton in 50 years, with his half century, unequalled, back to back finals misses.
At least he told the players in person, and did not do it by PHONE
Most can coach a port flag, but it takes a real chump to take them to back to back finals misses, with not even a GF appearance for 4 years.
No doubt worthy of a promotion....................Could go to the chokers to team up as a comedy duo double act with chocko choker
We cost them 4th spot, hence his job by beating them at alberton in round 16.
What makes it all the more sweeter is that I believe that they would have won the flag had they finished fourth - HA hA ha

Nah i dont think he was given the arse. Hes been involved in footy since he was 17 without a break (remembering he went straight from player retirement to assistant coach) so its fair enough if he wants a break.
I think its just a case of his contract being up and him not wanting to renew it.
Relaxing up north for a fair bit, drinking & fishing mainly!
