I went to the Eagles vs West game at Woodville oval and there were some good performances by our crow players

Mark Stevens - excellent game by Steveo, kicked 4 goals and numerous points. Took plenty of marks and moved around centre half forward really well. Didnt show any signs of injury.

Fergus Watts - best game i have seen fergus play. He played at Centre half back and took quite a few marks. He played on Wiggins and beat him. Fergus spent the third quarter at full forward and struggled there but when he was put back in defence looked more at home. I think centre half back is the position for Fergus at the moment and hopefully down the track he can go up forward.

Nathan Bock - didnt really take much notice of him. I guess he was solid without doing anything special.

Luke Jericho - another quiet game by Jericho. He kicked 2 goals but that was about all. Struggled in an ordinary side.

Chris Knights (Eagles reserves) - another great game by knights. He had heaps of posessions again and kicked two goals. He is a ball magnet and i think he may get a game later on in the years with the crows. He should be very close to getting a league game with the eagles. The crows have drafted an excellent player here.

Note Scott Lewis (West) - he was sensational again for west. In my opinnion he was easily their best player. He had heaps of touches and is sensational at the stoppages. I wish the crows wouldve drafted him last year. He has now played two league games and both games he has been brilliant.

Stevens - 19 or so touches with 11 marks (inc 3 contested) kicked 4.2 - good game.

Watts - 15 or so touches with 11 marks (inc 2 contested) - had an interesting duel with Wiggins early but did create run from the backlines. Looked at sea in the forward lines, definitely back is the go.

Bock - didn't do a great deal but didn't do anything wrong. Not sure of his stats but not huge.

Wasnt that impressed with Stevens he did good things but also silly handballs to a player a few inches away etc. But then i heard that he had so many touches when i listerned to SEN on the way home.
Watts played a great game mainly in the backline and a small part in the forward line.
bock wasnt that bad he did look good running out of defence.
Knights looked ok i think he played better last week .

Stokes is out with a hammy and will be replaced by one of Wigles Toia or Knights

Would love it to be Knights but I will go to watch the reserve on Monday to make sure I get a good look at him.

Centrals v Eagles should be a belter.

I Saw Massie had 27 Possies & 13 marks for The Legs from a HBF.....Maric was also mentioned in the best for Port....and with Stevens, Watts & Knights all playing well could The Crows finally have some depth
