Just because the Tour de France is over, doesn't mean the cycling is over.

Saturday sees the Classica San Sebastian, a tough one day race where guys who have form from the Tour will win.

Then straight after, 1st to 7th August is the Tour of Poland.

Then it's a couple weeks break to the Vuelta.

Already have riders in mind. Going away for the week so net access is limited. I'll post the plays as early as I can.

Classica San Sebastian

I've narrowed down to around 7 chances.

Alexandr Kolobnev - due to break through soon enough for a big win.

Roman Kreuziger - in alright form

Luis Leon Sanchez - in good form and will want to make amends for not winning a stage at the Tour.

Damiano Cunego - in good form and will want to make amends for not winning a stage at the Tour.

Carlos Barredo - last year's winner at odds of about 51+. Again, in good form and wants to make amends for the Tour.

Sylvain Chavanel - in good form and will probably launch a dummy attack to set up Barredo or vice versa.

Ryder Hesjedal - in good form and will want to get a win on the board. 5th last year.

Unknowns

Philippe Gilbert - he has lost me money this year and I'm not game to back him for a win until he proves he can win races. May come a place.

Vincenzo Nibali - not sure here. history doesn't favour the guys that didn't ride the Tour and these guys didn't ride the Tour.

Other chances:

Samuel Sanchez, Linus Gerdemann, Thomas Lovkvist and a few others.

One of the seven guys I've narrowed it down to will be one of the guys I back. At the moment on first look, it will be Kolobnev E/W claims.

Tour of Poland

Not sure yet. Sylvester Szmyd is the early lean. But need to see the start list in detail.

My favourite person on big footy. U always seem to no what ur doing. HAHA u costs me last night with McEwan but I will forgive u. HA. Accountant at 0 and will not be budging for a little while so hopefully the tab have head to heads or sportingbet give us a free bet sometime soon. Thanks Sas<3

Nah. I didn't cost you.

McEwen cost you by not finishing higher on a stage he has won twice before in probably his last Tour de France.

TAB will never cover these races. Never.

Just seen some odds for the San Sebastian. The favourite is at $9. Very very nice odds for other riders. They will be available in Australia later this week.
Do you think Centrebet will offer markets on this? Or should I be making my over to Sportingbet and signing up?

Just listen to sas te man is a genius btw sas do u ride or hwo do u no all this stuff?? Through watchin or major research

Sportingbet have the most comprehensive cycling markets, and will include head to heads from international sites if you give them a call, so are definitely the best for cycling. You may get some markets on Centrebet but I'd doubt it for the smaller races.

I don't want to say much but I have connections in the cycling world and heavily involved in cycling. Make of that what you will.

I don't think Centrebet will have markets. They might. But Sportingbet have done every race you can possibly bet on this year and Centrebet have followed but it's an unknown. Sportingbet will definitely have a market up.

Hmm ok. Just wondering because I have to leave in about 15 minutes and won't be back home until about 4:30-5pm EST. Let's hope I don't miss the boat.

Sportingbet has the odds up now, just for the race winner at the moment. Like the look of...

Barredo at $15
Hesjedal at $41
Garate at $51
Lofkvist at $67

Very juicy, can't believe the Lofkvist odds TBH, even Hesjadal who finished 2nd in the Amstel Gold, 5th in Strade Bianche (Lofkvist finished 2nd) and 8th at Fleche Wallonne.
