QR 6: no. 6 Mr Ubiquitous (This horse ran a HUGE race last start behind Haradasun, Mentality and Divine Madonna, cant fault that form and stepping back in class should be right in the mix) current odds $11



Desert War and Gold Edition are short priced, out of the 2 will only be backing Desert War, but they will help you get the Double or Treble. (Double is races 5 & 6)

Yeah she was the first horse i noticed when reading the form on friday. Running against this mob you'd hope she'd win.

The better tip on the thread... Gold Edition and Desert War were pretty much givens... and one fell thru. Hanna Rossa saved my butt.

In the 20-odd years of watching racing on my part, i yesterday was the victim of what is the worst ever protest decision i have ever witnessed. Backed a horse at Kembla, which came from last and nosed out the favourite in a photo. The favourite was in front with a 100m to go, and mine started flying home on its inside ( favourite was about 10 horses off the rail ). The horse i backed came out and they briefly brushed. Now the only impact this had was that my horse only won by a head where it would have won by about half a length. I showed mild surprise when the protest was lodged, but deadset fell off my chair when the placings were reversed. Worst decision ever, even though i am talking through my pocket.

I know how it feals, I had a horse knocked out of place which lost me $6000 dollars for my trifecta...

Its not the fact that i lost my money.....i have been on the both ends of protest results over the years, but this one was an absolute shocker....the favourite was jumping up and down in the one spot, and the minimal contact had no bearing at all on the result.

Happened to me a couple of months ago, was paying 12 bucks too, and it was a BS protest, can't beleive it got held up.
