Has anyone seen Saw?

I hired it from the video shop the other day expecting some lame thriller like Seven, but it turned out to be really really good. An original concept, great sets and genuinly creepy.

Saw made Seven look like is a kids show.

But seven was one of the best movies of the 90's.

I watched SAW the other night and i am worried that thier is people that can come up with these idea's. Was a good movie with an unexpected ending, but it was pretty sick.

I saw Saw the other night .. I havent seen or cant recall 7even so I wont try and compare the 2.

But woah what a well scripted movie. And kudos to me for picking the crazy...but I thought I was wrong 3 times very clever very inventive and kept me on the edge of my seat most of the way through. In any movie like this it is easy to put yourself in the movie in either role, and that is the sign of a good movie to me.

Ok it probably wasnt well scripted but it had a fresh idea on it...and did leave the door open for a sequel

Great movie....acting in some parts was real dodgy but it made up for it in suspence and the unpredictablity of it all. I felt very sorry for Danny Glover's character though unlucky bastard.

Also who else wanted to see that reverse bear trap thingy go off? Would of been fairly bloody

I've only seen half of it (boyfriend put it on very late at night and I fell asleep) but I'm interested to watch the ending, he thinks it's one of the best movies he's seen for a while......so yeah I'll get around to finishing it someday! Just waiting for a day when I'm really in the mood for it.

it was good except the ending, you don't really know why "zep" or whatever his name was did all the shyte for the cancer dude, it is nowhere near as good as seven

Jeez, you must have trouble following plots in movies if you don't know why Zep was doing what he did.........what did you enjoy about seven? The pretty colours?

Saw is an awesome, awesome film. I thought it was very good until the ending, which put it up another level. Which is the same thing I thought when I first saw Seven, which is an all-time classic

They're both brilliant films, Seven probably very narrowly ahead

Saw is a very well written movie, but quite poorly acted which is its main flaw. That being said it is still a good movie and good to watch but to say its better than Se7en is ridiculous. Good, but has nothing on Se7en.

I just watched it and I have to say I loved it. As a huge fan of Seven I don't think it was quite as good but pretty damn close.

Finally got round to watching it, as someone was bugging me to do so...didn't mind it, but Leigh Warnell sounded like he'd copped a few nutshots. Sure has come a fair way since Recovery though...
