Byron is back on track and can resume training in the next 4 weeks.
He has begun putting the weight back on that he lost and reckons he can be back at his 80kg mark by Round 13.

Just waiting for the gash (its not even a cut its a gash!) to heal and for the stitches to be removed.

Thought I'd update everyone!

Thanks Taz, Welcome to BF.

Friend saw the boys at Melville Rec Centre yesterday. After swooning deliriously at seeing Pav with his shirt off, she noticed Schammer looked like a scawny teenager by comparison. Looked like he did when he first arrived. Lot of work to go yet.

The wound will largely be healed within about 6-7 weeks of surgery, but putting serious work load on the scarring and the major and minor muscle groups that have been cut during surgery is ill-advised before 2 months at the earliest (depending on the severity and depth of the cut).

The weight gain and match fitness will be the tough part, don't expect to see him until late into the second half of the season if at all.

Abdominal surgery, 16 kilos of weight loss and no pre-season have pretty well put paid to his season.

Tough luck for the bloke.
