Some of the players you mentioned above need to take a bit of responsibility for their own development. An AFL career is not going to be handed to you on a silver platter. When you are given an opportunity, you need to have the desire and dedication to grasp it.

Setting the bar a bit low there Chook. Dodd, Johnson, Mundy, Sandi and Crowley have achieved 2 fifths of bugger all..

Johnson came 2nd in the Doig last year and Mundy came 3rd in the rising star in his debut year. That's gotta count for something.

I think we can be pretty happy with Dodd's continual improvement too.
