After reading what Scott Burns said on the Collingwood website, i reckon we are a big chance to beat the Tigers this week, in fact, we will. I wasn't going to go, but i'll now pack the car, drive the 4 hours & get down and watch. If nothing else, we will see a far more committed outfit this week. Spread the word, the Pies may not be gone yet.....

Yeah, I'll be there cheering Rhyce Shaw...i mean Collingwood...this sunday.

anything when there is a $2.50 sunday saver train ticket to get. :)

Grayza, down from the border albury/Wodonga. Being a bit faceatious, think its $1.10, but i'd pay anything to see the Pies kick the Tigers inflated heads in this week. They have a history of getting ahead of themselves, & would love nothing better that hearing Shirley Bassey sing "ä little bit of history repeating" around 4.45pm this week

LoL you might like a bit of Shirley Bassey but im hoping to hear some "Good Old Collingwood Forever".....would be much better :)

great to see you are keen to come down from up there, even with the team coming of an 18 goal smashing...that is commitment

U guys would love to beat us, but it won't happen ;). We have a good coach now and we'd beat you even if you had a full team :p

To quote Zeke:
Cockiness level = extremely high :)

Waiting for the great annual Richmond Oh-that's-right-we-are-crap day to come along very soon.

Perhaps this Sunday.

If you had a full side I'd be worried pieman but you are terribly undermanned and rocca is probably THE most important player in this team. His presence is being sorely missed. You simply dont have the cattle.

No probably about it IITB. Has been for years. No Rocca no forward structure. Someone has to do something out of the ordinary for Collingwood to win or Richmond have to get a week ahead of themselves. It would be a lovely irony if the Clokes pulled out blinders and Travis kicked the winner.

i realy wanna see travis do something special some time soon. When was the last time we had a young player deliver early on and show us something to be excited about, rather than showing "promise" (and half the time not delivering).

I think this is a pretty big game for the 3 clokes. All 3 have been strongly linked with the tiges before their careers began due to their family ties. Let's hope they can play up to it.

i'm confident because we beat you last year (nearly twice)when Spud was coaching us.

that's like getting laid by a supermodel with your incoherent grandmother handcuffed to your wrist.

Even though we were beaten , the 6 hour round trip was worthwhile, if for no other reason than my 6 year old Magpie supporting son asking questions all the way home about Chris Egan, Fanning, Presti's speccie, Tazza's knee, & Travis Clokey! He went, saw they had a crack, & knows that there is hope with the youngsters. As a footy coach of mine said some 13/14 years ago when our side was playing the kids, "short term pain, for long term gain" - he proved correct, winning the premiership not long after.

GO PIES, play the kids, & reap the rewards in years to come!
