Nice video, but geez, going by that he was a star forward pocket who kicked 90 goals a year. That must have included just about every goal he's ever kicked.​

yep top effort but agree the vid doesn't really show the player he was. whoever hasn't see west play will think his a goal scoreing midfielder lol. but still good vid im gonna miss seeing him play.

Yeah it's pretty hard to get highlights of his wonderful in and under work, go a little bit of his handball work.
That's the best i could do though and usually all highlights from players are goals and marks so don't know what else i could of done.

Shattered that he's gone. Hard to believe he went from runner up in the 2006 Brownlow to delisted in 2008.

He was always under-rated and under-appreciated. Seemed to me that Johnno, Smith, Darce and Grant got all the attention over Westy. He was a through and through champion footballer who should be remembered in the same league as the above mentioned players, if not even better going by his record. Good luck with whatever you choose to do in the future Westy and please stick around the club.

Love Westy. Always have always will. Good to hear him say that he will be in the stands cheering the boys on. Hopefully it won't be too long until his in the coaches box or at training helping the boys out.

Yes, we all know that West's goals would hardly get a mention in his highlights reel (apart from his debut game when he kicked 5). A true West highlights video would have the countless bullet like handballs shot out from a pack. Remember the deft little handball to Cooney in the Elimination final against the pies in 2006 - that was classic West.

Agreed though. I couldn't get any in and under work of his. All the highlights are goals etc.
