Well, as I, like a majority of people predicted - Kieran was the killer. Too many clues to ignore from both S1 and S2. I also nailed the fact he was in a relationship with Piper and hated his dad (just wasn't sure why).

Begs the question, though, as to why Piper tried to place the blame on Kieran in S1. I wonder if they had originally planned to do that to mess with her, or Piper was going to double cross Kieran as a fall guy in case she failed in killing Emma.

I must admit that while it was obvious Kieran was the killer, I got a strong vibe early on in the episode that Brooke could have been the second killer given she was fishing for sympathy and yet wasn't genuinely sad about her dad getting killed.

Also, what I don't understand is why Emma's dad was written into the story for a couple of episodes and then disappeared. Bad writing.

Oh, and what the feck was the reason behind Emma's photos being strewn up in the farmhouse, plus any connection to the farm in general aside from Emma's nightmares about her killing a pig in the farm? Kieran would have had zero idea about the significance behind it, so surely Brandon James must still be alive living in the house.

Not a great reveal at all. Billy Loomis V2.0. Gave him a pass early on for the sole reason that I figured in this day and age they wouldn't go down the obvious cliche path, until it became more and more obvious they were.

It just seemed so in your face that I thought it was a nod and wink to the old movies. Then it's like "Oh wait, they're serious."

I enjoyed the finale, was very intense, and I liked the reveal scene. It got so obvious though. And that police department must be inept if you can't find two teenage girls lol.

Also, I think you guys missed it - it is back October 18.

Im still not sure the point of the whole farm house and why Eli's mother skipped town too

Pretty sure it had to do with the fact Eli's mum was the one who helped burn down the model home (as instructed by Brooke's dad in Ep 3/4 who asked her "for a favour" and wanted her to do an insurance job for him), and didn't want the cops to be on their tail.

Hope that's true! I thought I read that the third season didn't get picked up due to flagging ratings, and fans were lobbying for Netflix to pick it up?

How I would have done it...

Noah would have been the killer. Let's be honest, he would have been the only one smart enough and tech savvy enough to connect Audrey to Piper in the first place. I would have had Audrey's connection with Piper stronger, perhaps even as a killer herself, albeit one that had seriously begun to regret her actions. It would have been good had he spent the whole season torturing her. Plus he seemed the most likely of the ones remaining to 'snap' because of the original spree/become jaded by his friend's apparent betrayal. Maybe he felt he had outgrown the town and wanted to wipe the slate clean. It would have been unexpected and I reckon the actor would have done a great job.

It says it there on Netflix.

I could be wrong - but I know that's what I saw cos I saw it twice.

Pretty sure it said new ep on that date. Best to double check to be safe perhaps?

That's what I thought as soon as the credits began rolling. Noah would have been the biggest surprise of them all, he's the movie-geek Randy character from the Scream movies who was set up to be the killer early on, but ended up being a loveable character. Fans of the original films like myself instantly liked Noah due to this connection, and I wouldn't have expected if he was the killer, and would have loved it if he was.

Would have been awesome if, like you said, Audrey was the accomplice from S1 and Noah was an unrelated copycat killer turning the tables and toying with her leaving the notes, GoPro footage of her with Jakes body etc. as a way to try and frame her for all of his murders in S2. This would have been a perfect way for him to exact revenge against the town and a get a twisted form of justice for Audrey/Piper killing his S1 girlfriend.

Just uploaded the preview for the next instalment to the series, which apparently will be a two-part extended length edition as a 'season 3'.

Just a warning, of course it contains massive spoilers to those that haven't yet watched the S2 finale...

Not sure who 'lawyer' could be.
Well, I suppose the obvious answer is Brandon James but the real answer is probably the real culprit of the original murders...we don't actually think it was Brandon James, do we?

Surprised there is a third season tbh.

It'd have to be an older character, surely.
Emma's dad? Kieran's aunt?
Giving guidance to Piper, no doubt. How else will they try and tie the story back to the Brandon James generation of characters?

Bit of an underwhelming finale IMO. I was keeping a close eye on Keiran in this Ep and so many scenes where he was there and then wasn't and then the killer shows up and then he reappears and then leaves and then the killer calls and then he reappears etc, I guess it happened all season too as Walker Star picked up pretty early on. Was hoping it was someone else but everything pointed to Kieran and yeah, the reveal was obvious and underwhelming but the end scene was great!!!!

In S1 I picked Kieran as the killer, there was so many moments that made you think he was.

Eli knew it all and it begs the question why he didn't say something to the cops?? Or the Lakewood six.

If there is a season 3, the games have already begun, who do we think called Kieran? My early prediction is Emma's dad.

Pretty much played out like expected, not saying it's a bad thing I just feel they missed an opportunity to go real deep or go out with a bang. I liked the teaser at the end with the "killer" on top of Keriens cell. More questions now than ever.. Perhaps the 2 episodes Halloween special will set things up for a 3rd and " Final act"

There is a whole back story I feel were missing.

Does anybody else laugh at how bad some of the plot holes are?

I mean, I don't mind them, but I shake my head thinking how does this even happen.
Like the reveal meaning that Kieran was the person that Haley started seeing? And that he allegedly two timed with Haley for a few weeks, all the while trusting her to not tell anyone (because that shit would spread fast), just in order to get her to throw a party and then kill her?

I wonder if they take them to college for Season 3 if they get one, or just a copy cat killer with Brandon James/his brother being on the phone at the end.
They have done the half sibling like Scream 3 and turned Kieran into Billy 2.0 even made him look like him.

And they cant copy scream 4 unless they introduce Emma's cousins.

Or that two teenage girls were wanted fugitive's yet managed to not be caught at all in a small town?

The convenient step into Kieran's room for Emma to get in.

Ms Lane being thrown 10 ft forward over a rail.

Noah being stabbed yet ran to Zoe like he was uninjured, yet struggling to move in other scenes. He ran in last night's ep too.

I mean I like the show and I get that it's not gonna be super realistic (nor it's meant to be), but stuff like that, I would just laugh.
