I'm still wondering why Kieran killed Branson given I don't remember him messing with anyone about it. Cut his hand off, took him to the school and stabbed him, then burnt him alive and no one spoke about it again.

Yep, that made no sense at all. I guess it was a way for the writers to try and implicate Brooke in some way.

But what was with chopping off his hand, torturing him and then burning him alive? Stringing out his death made no sense given he was almost a background character in S2.

When you really start thinking there's an enormous amount of plot holes and there's no way Kieran could've done it all by himself, has to be another.

Yeah you can probably chalk most of this stuff down to lazy writing.

Unless there is something/someone else at play but given the ambiguity of the prospect of season three, I doubt the writers would have planted seeds like they did in season one.

I liked it.

I'm glad that Kieran's death just took place in the Courthouse holding room, rather than in prison like we were lead to believe in that trailer. Now they're definitely just 'The Lakewood 4'

Early on they give us four suspects: Jeremy, Gina, Alex and this blonde lady whose name I can't remember.

I'll guarantee you that 'Mr James' who checked into the motel at the end is Troy.

I watched it as well. It was alright, wasn't anything too special.

The writing and acting is pretty appalling. The script was much worse I noticed compared to in general, and that Alex actor was was deplorable. And that's being kind.

I thought it was a fun slasher flick with a little suspect acting and writing but enjoyable regardless. A little bit predictable but I liked it.

Best part for me was the very end though with the set up for next season. Which in itself I find interesting because I thought this would have been well and truly filmed and finished well before it was green lit for season 3? I suppose it wouldn't have taken much to add on that little scene to the end.
