These right here are the reason as to why there is no way in hell I would want Polak at Richmond.

With pick 8 we will get one of these players....hopefully Jack Riewoldt, James Sellar or Mitch Thorp. Every single one of these players will be twoce the player Polak is and ever will be.

It will be a massive mistake getting Polak to Richmond.

We are goign down a road that we've already been down the last frucking 20 years.

Stick with the draft FFS....breed some new talent in to this club.

If anything we should be lookign at getting another pick in the 1st round....or even trading up in this draft

"Screw Polak; Keep pick 8"

friggin' A.

There's a lot of conflicting reports about what Miller has said regarding our picks. I'm not confident they won't trade pick 8 and I don't care how people claim this is a deep draft. Pick 8>Pick13 and thereafter.

Trade up, not down and let's look to 2009...

Exactly. I thought we were over quick fixes and wanted to build our list with early draft picks and training up our kids. I could understand if someone like a young Scarlett or Mal Michael was up for trade but Polak?? Sheesh.

whatevere happens we have to trust that greg miller and crew are out to get the best possible result for the richmond football club and i dont believe they will head down the path of short term fixes as we have done in the past. they have a vision of were they believe the footy club can and rightfully should be, and lets face it who is a better position to know that than the people who are on the inside dealing with it day to day

it better work, do or die time for Miller now, I have been willing to give him a fair crack, if he stuffs this up many wont be happy.

Polak is a 'new' talent.

He is 21 years old.

lenny your alright brother :thumbsu:

keep up the good work

we should be trading our hacks for 3rd/4th round picks and trying to catch up to the hawks and bulldogs who are way ahead of us interms of young talent

both the hawks and our senior players are not good enough for finals but in a few years their foundation of kp players and ruckmen is way better than ours thus we need to catch up this yr while they hopefully pickup hacks like thornton

The Hawks are ahead of us?
That's the funniest thing I've heard all week!

They've gone KPP and we've gone speedy midfielders.
Which ruckman were you referring to? Everitt?
See how their midfield goes without him.

campbell is a big improver, bailey is a giant

lewis and birchall very good mids, add mitchell and hodge

roughead, franklin etc good forward line, add williams

murphy and gilham are getting better, croad good backup

i hate the hawks with a passion but even i can admit if they get their coaching right they will be very good

And not exactly starring, infact his lack of form has meant that younger players like Mundy and Johnson have replaced him in the backline, not exactly the performer we're looking for. Although he is young for a KPP, he could be a dud. So could pick 8, but we should keep on our track of youth, which has yielded results.

Its widely known and well documented that in NO WAY are we getting rid of our first draft pick for anyone. Whats with all the hot air lenny?
