This bloke is a hack. Did nothing all night and everytime he was near it, a mistake was made. Raph at least was good in the last quarter, the dud Dempster was shocking for the whole game. If he plays next week, I'll spew.

P.S. Good on ya Blakey. Another good game. I've not been a fan of him in the past but he has been good in his last 2 outings.

It was his best game for St.Kilda last night.

21 possessions and 3 free kicks for.

Get a clue before persuing vendettas against certain players.

How many of those were mongrel punts that missed the target and resulted in a turnover? Too many.

Did you even watch the game. Dempster was better than a large portion of your team yesterday so it is unfair to single out Sean saying that he had a poor game.

Incorrect.

The depth on his kicking inside 50 was very good last night.
 
He was smashed in one-on-one contests. Everytime the ball was kicked to his man, he was out of position and didn't know what to do at all.

No, Thomas can kick a drop punt. Just suggesting that Daisy isn't that inclined to getting contested touches. Wasn't hard in that game to get contested possessions, the whole game was a giant contest. It wasn't like a Geelong game for example. Dempster looked very sluggish because he couldn't stick on his man and hence was caught out of position many times. It doesn't matter how many possessions he had, few of them were of any use to us during the game.
 
didn't see much of him last night, the only notable moment i remembered was in the first quarter when o brien kicked that goal on milne. milne got the ball but it was knocked out of his hands and he slipped.
dempster then made very little effort at stopping o brien, resulted in harry's 2nd goal of his career

What would you know you fool! You Melbourne supporters don't even turn up to your own games let alone anyone else's. Dempster is a dud, you should know all about duds at Demonland.

You are a weed mate. The reason we're not winning more games is because Ross Lyon has your frame of mind. Picking stats out to defend what was obviously a shocking performance. Do you think that stats ever tell the story of a game? Why do any of us ever bother watching football when we can get the paper in the morning and read who the best player on the ground was because they had the most touches or kicked the most goals? Dempster kicked the ball like a 5 year old end-over-end every time he was pressured. The only half decent kicks he delivered were uncontested on half back. You know the man is a dud when Shane O'Bree kicked the ball better than him.
 
He ran well to create space and an option coming out of defence. There is nothing worse than watching the Saints when they are stagnant coming out.

I'd have to say though that he needs to learn how to kick on his left side. That was a bit embarrassing. If you can't do it, kick a banana (like many do) and get some bloody yardage!

Lol at these comments - Rubbish thread. If Dempster plays like that every week I will be more than happy.

I'm willing to accept limited gametime for some players, but the below players should take a look at themselves:
- Chucky G
- L Fisher
- Montagna (post 1st quarter... Not one tackle... Balls and Hayes had 8 each)
- R Clarke (too little ouput again)
- Kozi (where was he? Relying to much on crash and bash)
- Schneids
- Gehrig and Gram get honurable mentions (however I think Gram had to play a pretty accountable game so I won't smash him too much. Gehrig was good early with space but once it was closed he was rendered useless).
- Armitage have limited gametime? I liked his goals so he gets a get out of jail free card... And he's still learning unlike everyone else mentioned.
