What's the connection between Anakie & Corio? Seems to be a revolving door between the two over the last 5-10 years which can't be good for either clubs stability on or off the field surely.

Isn't that what this forum is for, to have an opinion? Take it or leave it.

I'm not much of a footballer myself, just a lover of local football and I will say it how I see it. Nothing against the bloke, one of the most genuine guys i know, but you cant possibly tell me that he is a better player now than he was in his prime? As I said previously, he would still be in the best 22 of most sides, however you cannot deny the fact that his best football is behind him.

True legend of the GDFL and playing 300 games is an achievement I could only dream of. Good luck to lazer and i hope he can prove me wrong.

I'm a opposition supporter and all I can say his a gun and any club would love too have him in there side. I don't no the bloke at all but he can play. He would be in the top ten players in our league.

I see corio doing alot on the recruiting side of things, not much coming out of any other clubs, any big or good signings, is that the truth about macca from anakie? How are bannockburn inverleigh and north geelong looking early? Any clubs started pre season?

heard of a few ins, not many outs but its November mate. March is when you will know for sure if all the BS on here is actually worth anything.

Geelong West starte Pre-season last week with strong numbers which is really pleasing this early.

What about Banno any news on coach....? believe Anakie have picked up 4 guys from Lara reserves and Pitman and Collo have once again signed on with Anakie... Great to hear G-West having good numbers at preseason as well as Winch signing Mench and 3 guys from Anglesea

Walking the dog past north geelong tonight looked to be about 55-60 players on the track, looked like they have picked up a couple, also seen a couple handy players sitting on the sideline.

I hear that they have offered the job too Dean Talbot, Butch Shaw and Harding and all have knocked back the job.. Witch would disappointing for a club that came so close this year to playing off in a granny... Maybe they are going to have to convince Ronny Pilgrim to do a yearv on his own as I believe that Ross Diilon has returned to Bell Park with a few other Bannockburn players..I believe that Tom Mullane-Grant has had 2 meetings with East which would be a good start on replacing Lucas Murphy.....
