Anyone got some info on Yea this year as they seem to be a bit of an unknown at the moment?

Heard they had an intra club friday night??
 
Terrible news of the death of super umpire Greg Sidebottom. Collapsed on the weekend umpiring a game up north. A great advocate for footy and particularly umpiring, plus a top bloke.
Will be sadly missed by all in YVMDFNL.

Yep saw the game and very scrappy first half with both sides turning it over time after time. Wind didn't help but it was crap footy. Second half was much better and the last quarter saw the P.town run riot. Too much talent through the mid field eventually shone through but need to fix their centre bounce set up with the big fella winning 80% of the bounces but the clearances were even.

Mt Lilydale had 11 senior players not playing that day so I thought they played very well for 3 quarters with no fresh legs on the bench.
 
Few big outs at don rd coming through
Mt ev warby and olinda look to have to lost no one of importance all other clubs have significant losses

A fixture was released last week but we were told on Thursday that some teams had pulled out so they would have to rejig the draw,they did indicate there would only be 1 division like last season so we will just have to wait and see I guess
 
Monbulk and mt ev with plenty of changes how will they fair points wise

Monbulk was 50/50 at best with locals and buy ins last year and the loss of gray, Anderson and wragg plus new players squeezing the 18s that played up
Gough and Gilbert both from Yarra valley so worth big points if they play seniors

Anyone want to have a crack at final ladder positions for the 2 divisions?
 
My picks the same as Hawks 2008, although not sure about Woori!
Division 1 -

Only 8 goals up at half time. Don't know about how strong Kinglake were but they had a couple of players from Heidleberg playing for a hit out.
