Individual Posters
Now that we have done a solid overview of the season lets take a look at the top individual posters across the league.

Now Senor M, you may be shouting 'Quantity isn't Quality', and you would be correct. So let me correct myself, lets take a look at the top spammiest individual posters across the league!

Top 20 Posters By The Numbers (1).png

Let's firstly have a look at the top 20 posters by the numbers and it's no surprise that DemurePrincess tops the chart for another season having chatted across two separate clubs this season. It's the more than 1000 post gap that is the damning part with their trade partner, Pugsley sitting second.

The Old Boys have five current posters, one poster that started the season there and at least one future poster in the top 20 with Robertio, Braklet, Irish BlueBagger, and Mrs Turbo joining Pugsley inside the top 20.

Controversial rookie, Raz, is third across the league joining their co-captains damicky (14th) and philreich (19th) on the board.

Other well-represented clubs include the Demons (3: Gralin, Wosh, and cats2rise) and Wonders (4: BFew, ClarkeM, Pamcake1, and AnUltimateRessie). Tonga Bob sits inside the top 10 for the Warriors and T2B_ seemingly did the heavy lifting for the Dragons this season. Kilroy also joins their current and former teammates.

Individual Centuries (2).png

There was 87 times that Sweet F.A posters recorded 100 posts or more in a match thread. The top three to do it spent time on the Old Boys list this season with Pugsley sitting outright on top by one week recording just a single week without hitting the 100 post mark. DemurePrincess is just behind the pug even though they recorded a higher post count across the season. Robertio lags quite the way behind her but rounds out the top three.

Mobbs, BFew, and Raz are the next three in the top 10 centuries, all one after the other. Raz in particular recorded all their centuries before round 7 and then was seemingly muzzled.

Tonga Bob, Gralin, and Wosh all sit equally on four. Cap and kenneyswarriors weren't in the top 20 posters this season but recorded 100 posts or more three times each.

Highest Match Thread %'s Of Their Club.png

It's no doubt that sometimes being part of a less active club can be tough at times but applaud needs to be given to those that show up week in week out just to cop the same old activity banter.

ShaunDuggan and James Colorado have put in a mountain of work at the Furies this season to take 70.7% of their clubs posting this season.

T2B_ sits second for the Dragons who linked up with fellow dragon Bonz for a combined 65.3% of their clubs posting. GWS Goose and Falconista link up at the Gumbies but only for a combined 45.4%.

Mobbs and Raz sits in the 30-35% range at the Roys and Swamprats, respectively.

Tonga Bob has done the heavy lifting at the Warriors with a 7.5% gap to the next best and DemurePrincess carried 23.6% of the Bombers posting even though she joined mid-season.

More to come...

Season Comparisons
1733823300932.png

Let's grab some data and compare it to seasons 34-current. If you want to do any comparisons before that head to a earlier edition.

Total Match Thread Posts S34-S38.png

Firstly, let's have a look at total match thread posts. Some things to point out here - Season 34 had just 12 games per team and S36 had just 14 games per team. The rest, including season 38, had teams play 16 games therefore there was 24 more games in season 38 than season 34.

The numbers are pretty clear that there has been a significant drop off in match thread quantity since the start of the OOB's error. COVID may play a part in this though with people's average time online dropping significantly since as well.

Average Unique Posters Per Week S34-S38.png

We can't blame COVID or the lack of for this one though. Across Season 34-37 the average unique posters showing up a week was fairly steady but has dropped off by about 20.3 this season.

Average Active Unique Posters _5p per Round S34-S38.png

A similar trend can be also seen in active unique posters or those with more than 5 posts per week. It will be seriously dangerous for the league if these numbers start to drop below the 100 mark.

The above two graphs only include rounds with 6 games in it to stop the data from skewing.

Total Match Posts by Round.png

Some bright spark thought it was a good idea to introduce weeks with less than 6 games so it screws with the numbers a little bit but overall the seasons numbers keep dropping off the season goes longer but for whatever reason the final round in season 38 was one of the best final rounds in this data set.

Unique Posters by Round (1).png
Active Unique Posters (_5p) by Round.png

If you want any more comparisons or graphs, I'll try to tap some keys and get you something but next I'll start doing some team 'analysis' instead.

Media
Yesterday TheInjuryFactory called me a beez whore and I got really really angry and started to cry, well TiF! lucky I have media numbers to put into terrible looking graphs!!!

So here is your media statistics in case you haven't voted or would like to edit them to put me at #1.

I also need to do my beez votes.

Top Media Creators.png

Here are the top media creators since the season 37 grand final. This data set includes threads under the 'media' and 'event' threads.

damicky sits second on the list with two Old Boys, Pugsley and Tigerturbulance sitting equally third. Robertio is another Old Boy in the top 10.

For the Warriors, Tonga Bob, TheInjuryFactory, FootyGuy13, and Dinsdale have been active in the space with Headless sitting amongst them.

Pamcake1, Callums_Guns, and Jabba73 rounds out the top ten.

Pre v In v Beez v Total.png

Let's use the top 10 media creators to compare their pre-season, in-season, and 'beez time' media eras to their total.

I defined beez time as any media threads posted after the 18th of November, this was the week when 'award season' was kick started.

Media Creation per Team.png

Our final look at thread numbers is to see which teams have been the most active.

It's great to see members of every team getting involved in media but the Old Boys, Wonders, Warriors, and Swamprats were especially active in the media scene.

Total Media Engagement.png
Average Media Engagement.png

These two graphs are hard to get much from as the numbers include media threads where the original poster replied to their own thread a spammy amount of times. For example: My SPAMFL thread, Phenom's SFAEW thread, and FootyGuy's Olympic Thread.

Media 'engagement' was also defined as replies. Was there a better way to do this? probably.

Therefore myself, Pamcake1, and FootyGuy13 are in the top of the total 'media engagement' and PhenomenalV1, Pamcake1 and FootyGuy13 are in the top 3 of average media engagement.

It would have been nice to compare media numbers across the last few seasons but I'm not compiling that over a two or so year period.

Roys FFC
1733983552973.png

The Roys were again captained by Mobbs (97.3 ppw) in season 38 and led the way in the posting statistics with TheGoatBaron (51.06 ppw) and _Mike_ (22.81 ppw) rounding out the top three.

There were just three posters on the Roys list that failed to record a post across the season.

1733984118211.png

Not only did I steal dav's colour scheme but I also stole this section of the club snapshots.
The Roy's didn't have a lot of recruiting movement prior to season 38 as they only picked up HinkleysHeroes. Their biggest loss heading into the season was tigs2010 setting a combined net loss of -29.5 ppw.

Roys FFC_ Posting Distribution.png

Mobbs had the third highest team posting percentage in the league and the highest for the Roys taking out 34.3% of the their match thread posting.

Outside of TheGoatBaron's 18% the rest of the list fills just 38.7% of the posting distribution with the bottom 13 players of the squad taking up 5.7%

Roys FFC _ Average Posts _ Match Thread (1).png

After a great posting season in season 37, there was a steep decline on the Roys posting numbers in season 38. This also may point to the Roys liking the start of the year more than the back half of the year.

The Roys haven't returned to their season 36 numbers but the decline is slightly worrying and they will need to hit the trade table to bring some numbers back up.

Roys FFC _ Average Posters _ Match Thread (1).png

There was a decline on unique posters from season 37 to season 38 as well but again not quite returning to season 36 levels.

Roys FFC _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread (1).png

Out of any of the numbers and sub-par graphs in the Roys snapshot this is probably the most worrying with a S34-S38 low of an average of 8.8 active posters.

1733985936555.png

There was just six Roy's that participated in every match in season 38. SpecialBruce is the only poster in that group to not be included in the top 10 club posters.

Ophidian Old Boys
1734077310540.png

The Old Boys have been a popular conversational topic in this thread but they boast a very strong posting line up. DemurePrincess and Pugsley are ranked one and two in club averages while active but it's Robertio who champs the whole season as the best poster from Spotswood. Braklet and Over The Post rounds out the top five posters.

There were just two posters that didn't participate in a match thread over the course of season 38.

1734077800305.png

Although there were some rookie problems in season 38 for the Old Boys, they put together a strong recruitment list with Dingster and Over The Post outputting strong numbers across the season. gab213 and Pugsley joined mid-season and added a combined average of 162.7 but didn't make up for the loss of DemurePrincess. Fleabane's departure was also a hit but overall it was another net gain for the Old Boys.

FreoGirl joined as a rookie and put out one big week before realising that the Spotswood Rookie Academy wasn't the place for her.

Ophidian Old Boys_ Posting Distribution.png

The split across the top posters and also the rest of the list were the best across the league. Robertio took out the highest posting distribution but one of the more interesting numbers in this was that there was still 15.8% left over for the rest of the list.

Ophidian Old Boys _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

DemurePrincess' departure was probably the largest reason for the drop off of average posts a match thread but never the less there was a drop off from their season 37 numbers but overall still very strong compared to the rest of the league and numbers they put out in season 34 and season 36.

Ophidian Old Boys _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

The overall numbers may have dropped off but there was a five season high in average posters in a match thread at 16.3 putting a stamp on a solid incline across the last three seasons. With more strong posters expected to be poached this may only go up from here.

Ophidian Old Boys _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

There was an incline here as well but not quite a five season high but there being an average of just 3.6 posters below this 'active line' is still an impressive feat.

1734078727710.png

There were 10 posters that showed up for every single match this season but you could also add the likes of gab213 DemurePrincess and Pugsley if you count their 'Old Boys Active' weeks. Elton Johns Wig, thewizardmelon, and whatever @U2Tigers new username is are the only ones on this list that did not show in the top 10 old boys distribution.

West Coast Wonders
1734085063865.png
On the surface it looked like a strong posting season for the Wonders as they had an average control of 52.81% on match threads across the season.

In their second season, BFew had a very strong posting season topping the Wonders by the numbers with Pamcake1 down on their form last season but still with an impressive 3rd rank. Sitting in between them was ClarkeM who did what Bonz couldn't do and keep a consistent 69 posts per week. AnUltimateRessie and HARPSichord rounded out their top five.

1734085378674.png

It was another transitional year for the Wonders with seven departing players headlined by the unfortunate passing of the much loved Horry. SM 's departure also impacted the numbers.

The highest incoming posts per week came from rookie Giant YoYo with late comer Roonescape also making a dent in the numbers for an overall gain of 19.1.

West Coast Wonders _ Posting Distribution.png

A large majority of the Wonders posting came from inside their top 10 with the rest of the list making up 5.2% with DenieD, dogs105, Cubs2Lions, and BallaratBulldog all contributing under that.

West Coast Wonders _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

Overall, season 38's average posting numbers in match threads remained steady on season 37 but has some work to do to return to season 36 numbers.

West Coast Wonders _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

Again, Season 38 remained steady with a slight decline on season 37.

West Coast Wonders _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

This is the concerning part of the Wonders overview with a sharp decline from not only season 37's active poster numbers but also a large drop off from the overall average unique posters number.

1734085947796.png

8 posters showed up to every Wonders match in season 38 with BigChippa52 the only one that sits outside of their top 10 posting distribution.

Dragons FFC
1734165005292.png

The Dragons struggled through an off-season poach and forced retirement crisis and their posting numbers did not look good. T2B_ (69.44 ppw) carried the load with Bonz (43 ppw) a fair way behind with an attempt to do what only ClarkeM could manage this season with consistent numbers across the season.

DragoDelph (18.81) was the third best poster at 18.81 ppw before the rest of the list falling below 10ppw. Ljp86 (8.13) and Blaze Storm (6.19) topped that list.

1734165477827.png

The dragons lost one of their best posters in serial_thrilla over the off-season with Supersuns and PhenomenalV1 also departing. A forced retirement to their highest beez finisher also hurt their season 37 chances. pK75 also called time on their career.

The only poster that they recruited was Pickitt who chipped in 4.1 ppw to make the net loss slightly smaller but it still sat at -137.8.

Dragons FFC _ Posting Distribution.png

A combined 66.4% between T2B_ and Bonz owned the majority of the posting distribution of the Dragons. Add DragoDelph into the group and it's 77.5%

Dragons FFC _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

After looking at the posting statistics and list changes, it's no surprise there was a large drop off from their previous seasons numbers.

Dragons FFC _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

Another large drop off in terms of their unique posters per week dropping from 15.8 to 9.8 after a relatively strong season in season 37.

Dragons FFC _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

Again, these numbers are the most concerning of them all with the Dragons having just five posters that contributed more than five posts per week. A drop of 6.7 posters per week from the previous season.

1734166025896.png

Although the numbers may have looked bad for the Dragons this season, they still had five posters that showed up every single week and that deserves recognition.

Las Vegas Bears
1734406886626.png

The bears host some real quality posters on their list with Cap headlining the team alongside solid outputs from Millky95 and tony while Chipmunk and MWPP also provided constant input to round out the top five.

There were four posters on the Bears list that didn't post all this season with 22 posters showing up at some stage throughout the season.

1734407210241.png

The poster back shed of the Old Boys claimed Dingster in the previous off-season and wasn't able to make up ground with the additions of SSSSSS and MKMatty contributing a combined average of 9.9 posts per week. Overall, the Bears lost a contribution of 22.2 posts per week.

Las Vegas Bears _ Posting Distribution.png

The bears had a solid posting distribution this season with those outside of the top 10 posters claiming 13.1% of the distribution.

Las Vegas Bears _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

The Bears average posts per week fell away in season 38 and was their lowest since before season 34 and shows an all around drop away from their posters this season.

Las Vegas Bears _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

There was just one less unique poster per week showing up in match threads this season, arguably left by a Dingster sized hole. Although their posting numbers dropped to a five season low, they didn't return to their season 34 unique poster numbers.

Las Vegas Bears _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

There was a larger drop off to their average unique active numbers this season but it still didn't drop to their season 34 levels.

Participated in Every Match Thread (1).png

The bears had nine posters contribute every week.

Gumbies FFC
1734655790379.png

The Gumbies posting cohort is led by GWS Goose and Falconista with a lack of names behind them pointing out the glaringly obvious part of their posting struggles. beez and cats_09 also show up every week to boost their numbers but an average of 32.88% control of the thread shows how behind the Gumbies are in engagement levels.

1734655952524.png

The Gumbies lacked strong recruitment prior to season 38 and bought in just one poster, The_Wookie, to level up their engagement but the rookie was only able to produce an average of 0.5 posts per week to replace the outgoing Barrybran, Chat Pile, and BlueE who all contributed posts in some degree in season 37.

Gumbies FFC _ Posting Distribution.png

The distribution is largely skewed to the top of the posting list with the top four posters contributing 84.2% of the seasons numbers and the top two posters contributing a combined 45.4%

Gumbies FFC _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

A league-wide declining of numbers didn't miss the Gumbies as their numbers dropped off again in season 38 by almost 40 posts per week.

Gumbies FFC _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

There was a decline in average posters per week as well in season 38 after they lost two posters who contributed most weeks and failing to replace them. A slight increase in season 37 showed promise but a significant drop off follows the league wide pattern.

Gumbies FFC _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

There was a drop off in their active posters per week as well as the numbers fell away for the second consecutive season hosting an average of just 5.2 posters per week that posted more than five times.

Gumbies FFC_ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

To follow on from the active posters numbers there was five posters showing up to the match thread each week. Brick Loosener shows up in this list even though they're not regarded as a top five poster for the Gumbies by the numbers.

Sin City Swamprats
1734662730956.png

A rookie and now outgoing rookie Raz (123.88 ppw), sat on top of the Swamprats posting statistics in season 38 even after a significant drop off was sighted post round three. Followed by co-captains damicky (61.88) and philreich (54.13) who both won't be captaining the club in season 39. New recruit serial_thrilla (38.25) and long-time rat jackster83 (27.19) rounded out the top five.

1734663175461.png

A recruiting spree after a captaincy turnover led to a significant gain of posts per week with MP_ and tigs2010 contributing to the numbers alongside top posters serial_thrilla and Raz.

Sin City Swamprats _ Posting Distribution.png

Raz had the overwhelmingly majority in the posting distribution with posters outside the top 10 still contributing 6.9%

Sin City Swamprats _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

The Swamprats recruiting drive had them put an end to their declining average posts per week numbers with a rise of 133.5. An expected significant departing list will need them to have another recruiting drive to stay on the same path.

Sin City Swamprats _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

There was another rise in the unique posters per week category with the Swamprats being one of not many clubs to have improvements in their numbers in season 38.

Sin City Swamprats _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

Although there was a 2.8 rise to the unique posters numbers on the previous season there was just a 0.6 rise in the average 'active' posters number.

Sin City Swamprats _ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

Six posters participated in every Swamprat match thread in season 38 with the whole top six posters being part of the list. BloodySwan sits as lucky number six while at least two of this list won't be at the rats in season 39.

Baghdad Bombers
1734677233282.png
This is a confusing one.... so many mid-season changes makes the posting statistics a little messy. The Bombers had 31 players listed for them across the season and ruled their match threads by an average of 56.56%.

DemurePrincess (219.13 ppw) is ranked number one for the Bombers although they only joined their list halfway through the season while Pugsley (127 ppw) is ranked second, who left halfway through the season. Kilroy (61.06) remained dedicated to Baghdad and was the third highest ranked poster with Bovo (39.81) and Jabba73 (35.5) rounding out the top five.

1734677562426.png

A lot of movement and a lot of chaos in the Bombers season had them introduce five rookies but it was the mid-season addition of DemurePrincess which ensured the net gain was sitting at 95.1 to overwhelm the exits of gab213, Pugsley, and Footy Is The Win.

Baghdad Bombers _ Posting Distribution.png

No surprises that DemurePrincess and Pugsley hogs the majority of the distribution while being joined by Kilroy to take out more than 50% of the seasons posting numbers. Posters outside of the top 10 contributed 8.7%.

Baghdad Bombers _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

Baghdad had a slight increase on their season 37 numbers but are yet to return to their season 34-season 36 numbers. They'll be hoping their season 38 rookie additions plus some solid season 39 recruiting has them bounce back to compete with season 34.

Baghdad Bombers _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

The average of posts per week increased but the unique posters numbers did not, this could be attributed to two of their loyal contributors departing or the 'DP effect'.

Baghdad Bombers _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

The 'active' average posters also decreased by 1.9 with just one of their recruits contributing positively to this number.

Baghdad Bombers _ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

The Bombers had five posters contribute every week. BLUEALLTHRU and Grav sit outside of the Bombers top five posters but contributed each week.

East Side Hawks
1734752378360.png

The Hawks posting statistics are a little rough to look at but they did have 22 posters show up at least once this season. They were led by Tarkyn_24 who had the smallest 'leading average' of any club at 19.38 posts per week. The Majestic (17.44 ppw) returned halfway through the season to claim the second highest average and the retired Strigoi (16.63) third. Captain, Callums_Guns (15.94) and TY24 (13.56) round out the top five.

1734752551258.png

The recruitment period is the Hawks favourite time of the season as they again were very active recruiting six new recruits. Out of those recruits it was PhenomenalV1 who bought in the highest posts per week with the remaining five struggling to get over 10 posts per week. Therefore, they failed to balance out the departures of MP_ to the Swamprats and Strigoi to retirement for a total net loss of 66 posts per week.

East Side Hawks _ Posting Distribution.png

Due to the low numbers across the board the posting distribution is very even across the team. Poster's outside of the top 10 contributed 6.3%.

East Side Hawks _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

After a major rebrand, there was a major uptick of average posts per match thread in season 37 but that came tumbling down in season 38 as they slipped below 150 posts per week.

East Side Hawks _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

There was a decline in the average of unique posters showing up per week after a the thought to be successful rebrand headed into it's second year.

East Side Hawks _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

The 'average' active posters count headed downwards as well in season 38, claiming a five season low.

East Side Hawks _ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

PhenomenalV1 and por_please_ya were the only two posters to show up every single week for the Hawks.

Mountain Buller Demons
1734759771300.png

The Demons had an impressive posting cohort in season 38 with every single listed player showing up at least once - The only club to do so. The ever so present Gralin led the squad with an impressive 76.25 posts per week. Wosh (66.63 ppw) and cats2rise (58 ppw) had a very solid outing this season to be among the top three. Mobbs medal winner moginie (50.94) ranked fourth while captain Headless (44.88) was fifth.

1734760153633.png

The Demons decided to go against the poaching method over the recruitment period and had a clear target to return returning players and rookies with tgrs and p4p1 bringing in the highest hauls. They only lost one poster, and it was a delisting, showing great retention.

Mt. Buller Demons _ Posting Distribution.png

There was a fairly even distribution for the Demons with Gralin taking 16.1%. Posters outside of the top 10 claimed an impressive 12.3%, making this one of the best distributions across the league.

Mt. Buller Demons _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

There was a slight increase in the average of posts per week for the Demons but they still sit in the shadow of season 36.

Mt. Buller Demons _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

Although there was an increase in posts per week, the average unique posters per week remained fairly steady with a decrease of just 0.5.

Mt. Buller Demons _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

There was an average decrease of one 'active' poster per week in season 38.

Mt. Buller Demons _ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

There was a league high 10 posters that showed up every single week in season 38. They have nearly their entire top 10 posters on this list with sausageroll , tgrs , p4p1 , DERO , Scythe94 , and cooney the players that were outside the top five. An impressive list.

Fighting Furies
1734912261149.png

Just 13 posters showed up at least once for the Fighting Furies in season 38 with ShaunDuggan their best, showing up every week and averaging 52.75 posts per week. Captain, James Colorado (36.13) was ranked second with rookie Orange crush (12.69) having a good crack this season. Frothies Mcveigh (10.06) and omgfridge (6.38) rounds out the top five who both showed up periodically.

1734912481686.png

A lack of recruiting from the furies have got them into a tough spot but overall they gained posts per week when looking at this metric with Orange crush posting more than Pickitt did the season prior. There's been some solid recruitment heading into season 39 though, so hopefully there is a big jump in these numbers when we look at them again in a years time.

Fighting Furies _ Posting Distribution.png

ShaunDuggan had the highest club posting distribution across the league with a whopping 42%. James Colorado also took a majority of the Furies posting at 28.7%. Concerningly, posters outside their top 10 contributed just 0.1%.

Fighting Furies _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

The current fighting furies 'era' is no doubt struggling in match threads, averaging just 125.7 posts per week which is somehow lower than the season prior. Continuing a decline in seasons since the Old Boys joined the competition.

Fighting Furies _ Average Posters _ Match Thread.png

We've seen a league wide trend in the decline of unique posters showing up and the Furies also don't avoid that, averaging 7.1 posters per week, 3.6 less than season 37.

Fighting Furies _ Average Active Posters (_5p) _ Match Thread.png

This is the most worrying number for the Furies with an average of just 3.9 posters posting more than 5 posts per week. Another decline here, which is a league-wide trend.

Fighting Furies _ Participated in Every Match Thread.png

Well done to those who did show up every week though with ShaunDuggan, Orange crush , and omgfridge , the three posters to do so from the Furies.

Coney Island Warriors
1735215390785.png

I am full of ham and beer and need to finish this off... so here is the Wazza's! A strong posting side that had the whole selected side show up in the opening three rounds before a significant drop off after that before returning to having 18 posters in round six. Overall, 25 Warriors showed up across the season with six not showing up at all.

Beez favourite, Tonga Bob (76.69) was at the top of the Coney Island group followed by Dinsdale (53.75). There was a bit of a drop off after that with spudmaster (28.0) and Ocha905 (27.19) pairing close together for third and fourth and TheInjuryFactory (23.06) rounded out the top five.

1735214518559.png

The Warriors constantly decide to keep 30 posters on their books (which must damage their salary cap) but gives them the freedom of delisting 0 post players when required to fit someone new in. Retention also helps the fact that there was a net gain of 19 with the majority coming from former Gumbie, Barrybran and rookie brian_muz.

Coney Island Warriors _ Posting Distribution.png

The top 50% of the order was half taken by Tonga Bob with Dinsdale (17.8%) and spudmaster (9.2%) also taking fair chunks. Players outside of their top 10 contributed a fair effort of 9.4%. Purple7x08_24 shows inside the top 10, even though they didn't contribute after round 10.

Coney Island Warriors _ Average Posts _ Match Thread.png

The Warriors average posts per week looks like a pyramid in seasons since the Ophidian arrival and hit their lowest in that period in season 38, losing over 80 posts per week even though their was only positive changes during the off-season.

The unique posters per week statistic has remained fairly steady in the previous five seasons and remains one of the top five clubs in this regard.

The 'active' posters statistic most likely shows why there was a drop off of posts per week with 1.7 less posters contributing more than five posts per week in season 38 than in season 37.

The Wazza's had nine of their posters show up in every single match thread this season, which is just one less than the likes of the Old Boys and Demons.

Yeah, let's finally finish this. The Gold City Royals had a total of 20 contributors across the season with a decent match control average of 46.19%. Their captain and then former captain and now vice captain Cadsky (41.19 ppw) led the way with not captain then co-captain and now captain GreyCrow (40.25) only slightly behind them. Brenton Davy (38.94) was then also only slightly behind that pairing to round out a consistent top three posters. EKA winner, manicpie (24.44) and not captain then co-captain now not leadership group member Footypie32 (15.75) sat fourth and fifth.

It was a good year on the recruiting table for the Royals, delisting dead weight with only one of eight outgoing players contributing in season 37 while only one of six incoming players didn't contribute in season 38 with manicpie leading the bunch while Mr Cheese , Crimson Azure , Supersuns, and Uncle_Leo all sat closer to the 5 posts per week mark.

A pretty even top of the distribution with three contributors inside the upper 50%. Posters outside of their top 10 contributed 14.2% of the seasons posting.

Although the Royals delisted a bunch of dead weight and made a positive net gain, the Royals had their worst average posting output in the last five seasons at 242.1. The Royals rebuild may still have some work to do based on the numbers.

The average posts per week may have down but the Royals have made another positive step in their average unique posters per week number.

A downtick on their 'active' posters numbers even though there was a uptick in their unique posters is a different pattern to most teams.

Eight posters showed up every week including two rookies. A very solid number of posters showing up consistently for the Gold City.
