In today's Sydney Herald Sun (did Port Adelaide receive as much fanfare as Sydney have in the Melbourne media when they won last year??? I dont even recall a Melbourne based-team getting this much attention), at the bottom of the Whitnall article it said that Cole re-affirmed that he wants to become a Bomber and the Pies have rejected the Dons' offers of players. The Magpies want a FIRST ROUND PICK, which is an absolute joke at best, and the article says that Collingwood is unlikely to accept the Bomber's second round pick for Cole.
I don't know if this means the Bombers offered it or not, but there is no way on earth that Cole is worth a second rounder, let alone a first. I really hope we dont end up with this guy, at least via trade.
Cole said he's willing to enter the preseason draft so lets hope that no deal is reached between the two rival sides.
