Yeh I reckon he’s grown aswell, looks taller than 189
he is on the record as saying he's only played young players because of injuries...Pretty solids debut old mate. You can probably put the theory about Scott not playing the kids to bed I reckon.

does that call into question your previous comment?makes sense.
From now on no-one can say Brad Scott doesn't play the kids when the others are injured.he is on the record as saying he's only played young players because of injuries...
It's starting to annoy me how much is pure luck rather than by design.he is on the record as saying he's only played young players because of injuries...
It’s not pure luck, but he doesn’t want the kids to think their games aren’t earned. Players hear press conferences and media speculation too, whether you tell them to listen or not. It's starting to annoy me how much is pure luck rather than by design.
They can look to the experienced senior players and know that the games aren't earned. It’s not pure luck, but he doesn’t want the kids to think their games aren’t earned.
Yeah he doesn't and I haven't seen the aerial ability either, but I think there are some aspects of his game that resembles him.
Could have picked Shiel and Parish this week.he is on the record as saying he's only played young players because of injuries...

I immediately thought of Goddard. I remember when he was talked up after his draft but I looked at this gangly kid and thought he’d need to develop physically before he’d ever reach the heights proposed. It took a couple of years but then he matured beautifully. I looked at Clarke the same way. He doesn’t look like he could impact the game yet with his immature physique but the fact that he was capable in his first game makes it even more exciting I reckon. Now, rewatched the game. He's even better than I thought. Hodge/Goddard vibes with his body positioning and game smarts. Here's hoping he's half the quality, or double.
IIRC, an old recruiter I heard say that if a young player can run, they are likely to play earlier than being physically (solidly built)The running ability goes a long way
He is much more impressive than Johnson and especially Day-Wickes at this stage
