Tough week for IN’s and OUT’s this week, but what’s your predictions??

The obvious out’s are the two injured players in Ellis and Vardy, but the paper stated Ellis as a chance to play, so who really knows?
Next up Brad Miller, I know he hasn’t been given much game time but in the short time he’s been on the field Brad has shown very little, this leaves the coaching side 3 options. Drop him back to Sandy to have some decent ground time, and to continue his football development. They could leave him in the side and give him a 5-10 minute run which in the end is only going to cost him. Or the selectors/coaching staff could keep him in the side and give him some decent game time! Who knows what they will choose!
I am highly critical of Funcke at times, perhaps labeling him the next Grgic was a tad harsh, and he did a reasonable job when moved onto Pickett on the weekend. He would be next on my cull list though, followed by the maybes in Green and Robertson.

Now for the IN’s. If Walsh is fit he should play, 1 week at Sandy is enough IMO. With Ellis probably out we are in need of another defender… or are we? Neitz for CHB IMO, or at least try him forward for a quarter, and if it fails move him back.
My next in is Jolly, who should be given a hell of allot more game time than he has been. Jolly is a good grab and can play forward, so why not let him? Let Jolly play in a pocket while White is in the ruck, and see what happens!
Then there’s one of 2 possibilities: they are Armstrong and Godfrey, both of whom are in good form. Depending on who is dropped, one or both of them should be brought in.

It is a tough one this week for sure!

Obviously Vardy will miss one or two. My pick would be to bring in Armstrong who can play off a flank, or to leave Miller in and play him forward. He can't do much worse than robbo and Green in recent weeks, although Green has still kicked 14 for the season.

Ellis is interesting, but so is Clint Bizzell. Both are stated as tests with chances to play. Alot will depend on these two. Ellis could play, Biz miss. Or it could go the other way around. Geelong's forward line is not tall, apart from Graham, and Nicho should be able to handle him easily enough. Kingsley will get either Ellis or Biz, depending on which one plays.

HOWEVER, if neither play, then things get interesting. Obviously Walsh SHOULD come in. Broady can handle a tall, but I would like to see Jolly come in to give us some more height. But you just never know...so, here are my picks for what will happen with this weeks side, picked Thursday night.

IN: Bizzell, Walsh
OUT: Ellis, Vardy (both inj)

It's hard to say if Funcke will get dropped, as Jolly was BOG for Sandy. But Funcke has done okay recently. If Biz pulls out, Jolly in for him.

agreed.

not that i know whats happened the past few weeks, or how injoured they were, or how there form was, but basing it on how they played before i left, those would be the right ins and outs IMO.

i have to agree aswell... i think armstrong is back to great form. he played really well on the weekend. Should be good to get him back. Hes been out for quite a while now.
Should be good to get walshy back aswell. I hope Vardz is back soon, hes a great goal sneak.
