Well it was a frustrating day, and I have let the emotion settle. A simple point, the thing that cost us most was selfish decisions. Bock on numerous occasions decided to back himself when there were much better options. I had so much anger directed at him. Number 2 candidate, Mattner. Once again so many better options, but decided to back himself to get past, seriously Marty you're not that good. Then there was the instance where he handballed straight to an Essendon player, who slotted it straight through the middle. Scott Welsh (a perennial candidate) having shots he shouldn't, why kick around the corner from 40 when in the open, when you can turn, run at the goal and kick a goal instead of being a showman FFS. GET OFF MY TEAM. Jason Torney was not nearly as bad, but still did unselfish acts like contesting balls, when he should let his teammates go up for it, at least on 3 occassions this resulted in his teammate getting the ball on the outside of the contest. I could go on and on and on, but the anger is returning. Selfish football= losing football. Where's this team for all South Australians we hear about, seams for like the Individual for All South Australians.
