I think our coaching staff were (correctly) more worried about having a man in front of their forward line - sorry Jonathan Brown - than putting pressure on the ball carrier, given how bloody obvious they were about who they were going to

If Hirdy was playing on Roe, then Roe was definitely a loose man in defence.

All I recall of Selwood is the clanger in the thrd quarter when his kick went off the side of the boot and MJ took the mark and we goaled a few seconds later.

Why is that if ya good enough player to get 35 possies it happens all the time, selwood played well for his 32 possies but he didnt do much to get brisbane back in the game.

well 32 uncontested possies is not on. Its different with guys like west and judd who win the hardball. they work for their possies.
