same tips as Tiger.Same tips for me. Your right TigerG, should be a cracker between Palmy and Mayne. A palmy win would see them hit top spot if percentage is there and Mayne would love to hang on to their spot in the 5.

Congrats to Maroochy! In regards Cooly forfeiting is that true? even if its their reserves?
Cooly should field a 2's this sat as 5 players from caloundra playing.
What a weird setup. Good that they dont have to forfeit, but strange. Are they sending Barry Obrien, blokes been kicking more goals than ever before!!
Lenny29 should be able to shed some light on this situation, stunnedSACKED THEIR COACHING STAFF??? WTF??? Pretty sure it is not his game plan in question! why? because at this level it is almost non existant. I could be wrong but i am backing the players had something to do with his termination, when at the end of the day its there fault they are losing and are looking for easy answers. There lying the problem, looking for the easy way out! But again, not knowing anyone up there, with the exception of reading Lenny's posts, am of little knowledge, so am just typing my thoughts!

Round 8 tips
Burleigh v Surfers
Maroochy v Sandgate
PBC v Mayne
W/Grange v Cooly
Noosa v Springwood
same except mdore to beat hawks
Good effort by Mayne lead at every change then got overrun in the last by a quality side. Big game against Noosa this week match of the round again for Mayne, I hope its a tight contest, unfortunately I don't see us winning but I pray i'm wrong. Not a fan Ike? Gee the Mayne lads really pushed the boys! Am the first to admit it, previous seasons would have lost that game! Big turn around and hopefully set us up for a big second half. Good luck to all the stockman and hopefully come away with a good win up there.
I dont see how you can say you dont think Mayne will win? I think they have proved that they are no push over this year.. Watched them first hand on the wk end, and the have improved out of sight. PBC where out played for 3Q. But as a good sides does, they dug themself out of the whole and took the game with both hands. Did you get down to watch the game tiger? The top 6 is really starting to get close, it will be a very tight finish i would say. If Grange get there injury list down they will get back on track..Good effort by Mayne lead at every change then got overrun in the last by a quality side. I agree top 6 will be tight and Mayne have show that they can run with the big dogs this year, wouldn't be shock me if they do beat Noosa this weekI dont see how you can say you dont think Mayne will win? There's no way I think or even said Mayne are push overs, about my thoughts about them not winning its just an opinion and doesn't mean I will be right. Noosa are a top quality team and very hard to beat but not impossible. Mayne this year are not solely relying on the likes of Brown, Housego etc the great efforts have been widespread in the team.I dont see how you can say you dont think Mayne will win? Noosa could have up to 4 players on rep` duty kwhit and both Mayne boys originally selected in squad have pulled out. From what I hear Cubby Isles has declined the offer of rep duties however Brewster,Eady,Bailey and Mills are making themselves available.I think the mayne v noosa game will go down to the wire.If mayne can push Palmy on the gold coast like they did they are every chance of causing an upset next weekend.Noosa should have Trompfy back which is a huge bonus and it is probably a good time for fletch to throw a couple of quality Under 18s into the fray.Depending on how many Noosa have out, if Mayne can steal one it will put a tonne of pressure on Surfers and Grange. Sandgate losing to Maroochy would have to see them outside the 5. The middle block of games will either seperate the top from the bottom or make it even more conjested. Over the next 6 rounds all these top sides play each other at some stage. This is where it becomes very exciting.
Is dj todd still at the club?and I`d be very surprised to see maroochy knock over or get within 5 goals on a decent track of any of the top 5 or 6 sides.Still quite a way to go for roos IMO.Maroochydore starting to gel as a team. not going to be the push overs they were earlier in the season, will take a couple of big scalps between now and the end of the season.
